If you aren't already using the original test button, add a test button to the unit. it'll temporarily put the unit into emergency mode so you can check the battery. also, this is just me, but I'd leave them in automatic mode so if the power goes out at night, the unit springs into action. if in the day, no big, just go ahead and turn it off. turn it back on at sundown.
Can you try it with clock ? Pendulam weight clock , it drops the weight slowly like for hours and pendulam will be giant magnetic going back and forth between coil that will generate electricity or you can directly attach a high output motor on pendulam pivot and get AC current and with a circuit you can filter it , maybe some capacitors will help
I've thought about doing this with a windup crank that spins the motor as it drops so you crank up multiple weights and rig it so as one bottoms out the next one starts dropping for a longer duration of energy production.
Finally! So good to see these being made in higher quality materials. I'm doing the same, just started really. But I want to use real wood and glass and brass so that the end result is a nice piece to have around the house. So tired of seeing electrostatic devices made out of soda bottles and scrap wood. I'll be sharing this to the Electrostatics group on Gab.
A truly smart man, (tongue in cheek,. ) WOULD HAVE LET THE BELLS RING UNTIL THEY STOPPED AND FILMED IT for longer video and much greater income potential! I would have watched gladly in the background while working!
this is not a battery because batteries MUST!!!! be charged in order to get current out of them otherwise there is only a potential difference between anode and cathode and no current...this is a photovoltaic cell and it's the light that is responsible for current to flow...carbon is a neutral / very conductive atom that is dielectric...all of the carbon atoms are experiencing a repelling force because of light...and the electrolyte is also feeling the repelling force...the 2 are additive which gives a greater electrical force than there otherwise would be without the electrolyte...the electrolyte is working EXACTLY!!! like a capacitor does in circuits so you can get more power out without changing the voltage or current...similar to transformers...the total amount of energy being used remains the same like transformers....there is an equal and opposite reaction force between the copper wire and aluminum which cancels...and the leftover is the actual current...the carbon is transferring energy to the particles that are not cancelled by the equal and opposite reaction force between the copper and aluminum...technically this is a solar battery/panel hybrid and NOT an air battery...you are not separating charge to use at a later time like batteries...its an on demand system
I’ve always thought about building this in a much larger scale for off grid power. I can never find any videos about it though so thanks nice to see it in action.
@Zulqarnayeen Schaftler Not efficient in terms of energy density. As it turns out, gravity is rather weak. The technology certainly has uses though. ex. Grandfather clock!
Nice job, well made. Once you catch the high voltage static bug, it increases and spreads until you get to hundreds of kV... ...Some high-voltage garden-shed sparks: ru-vid.comvideos?view_as=subscriber
This is BS. A stepper motor a RPM has nothing to do with voltage. It has to do with the pulses that cause the motor to turn. The wires are not even hook up correctly. PULSE an neon light takes 90v AC in order to glow. This whole is nothing but BS.
You can use the Power supply this time placing a Diode (1N4001) in series with the positive power lead. The Diode will reduce the voltage from 3.5v to 2.8 v. The diode "uses" 0.7v. Try your experiment again.
