My 2007 Camry started to make the same noise two months ago. It sounds louder at cold start. It sounds like a diesel engine. My car has 220,000 miles on it.
Man, your video is a life savor! This exactly happened to my focus and your video told me exactly how to troubleshoot and fix. Thanks for making this clear and awesome video!!
It is not a cylinder . If it was it would knock much faster . Its ~600 rpm at idle > 10 knocks per sec. Looks like something is within timing case. Or maybe some bullshit stuck to serpentine belt. Idk
600 rpm divide by 4 cylinders equals 150 per minute, divide by 60sec equals 2.5 per sec. Ended up being a broke rod, hole in the block and failed oil pump. Serviced at Toyota at recommended intervals.
That moment when you are : " Naaaaah 20 k miles on factory oil should be fine. It's Toyota after all." 😂. If it was a bwm it would explode 14k miles before that
You'll have to press the brake before the vehicle will allow gear selection. Most like a brake (or neutral position) sensor is failing, or maybe a short in there.
I never payed attention to the different sockets. I own thus Hercules 20v brushless impact wrench since October 2022. I haven't found nothing in the Junkyard it can't remove. A guy tried to buy it from me when was walking & removed a Cadillac Escalade axle nut off in 2 seconds for him. I also own a 2016 Kobalt 24v Impact wrench. It's never let me down either.
Lmao Im in the same situation u were. Only I got my engine out the car , I've tried two impacts so far can't get it off. I'm hoping if I buy this impact with the socket it will work
That's how a leaking piston rod bearing sounds... always from bad lubrication. on my suzuki from very light noise to total engine stop was about 60 miles... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Rj2WqvqrdBE.html
@@gizmotony1234 There's some kind of adjuster that sits at the top when you open the hood. Sometimes that causes a knocking noise. It's circular.I wish I had kept that podcast.
