Thank you for uploading this. My brother and I as teenagers from Australia would watch this. It was that bloody funny it didn’t matter we didn’t know most of the player they talked about Loved this show STATTO STATTO STATTO
The reason why zidane threw up at that moment Is because england would of been using sonic gun binoculars on zidane, to try and stop him scoring. For people that do not know, sonic gun binoculars are a war weapon made for war, to incapacitate people in war. Sonic gun binoculars scrambles your brains, and its like your pissed drunk, if its used on you. Thats why zidane vomited there, england would of been sonic gun binoculars on zidane to try and scramble his brains to stop him scoring the penalty. England under erikson, brought in such weapons, so england could cheat. Shows you how lacking these fools are in knowing anything about the sport they watch, and what a cheat sven erikson was as english manager.
Scholeri knocked england out of all the competitions with erikson was the england manager Amazing how none of the english supporters ever say it England speak about that golden generation, but one manager beat england in the 3 tournaments erikson was englands manager.
I wonder why people are saying this video is useless. It’s to show you a gibbon near a fence!!!! That’s what all these people came for, why watch it if you think it’s useless?
I used to watch this in the late 70s when it was presented by Henry Woolf. Before him it was presented by Tony Robinson but I cant find any videos of that one.
I'd love to have seen an entire episode consisting of just the studio audience doing the 'Statto' chant for like, 20 minutes! No seriously, it'd have been great television!
Brian Moore was still alive at the time and they all were working for ITV at the time so I don't know why they didn't ask him or find another ITV employee to ask him. I think Moore was a great commentator but what he said and what he meant to say I'm not sure were always one in the same - I don't think he meant to say exactly that.
Always loved this pairing of British comedic talents.. whatever the show.. 'Funny' thing, though.. Not sure if I never actually saw [very much] of this particular series, or just forgot about it over time.. (I'm now one of them '60s' lot, lol).. Anyway, t'was great to see something by Smith & Jones that - at least SEEMED - like I was watching it for the very first time!!... 🎭😆💙
