I like to think phoenix set this as his ringtone just to remember the first case he had with Maya helping him. Why that one? Why not his first case? It was his last case with Mia. Why not then the next one? It was the case of Mia's assassination. He chose to focus on the good things, instead of the bad ones. To enjoy the moments with the people he currently have, not to focus on the people that is no longer there. It's something Maya really likes, so he also cares about it, because of her.
