If Edgeworth was the prosecutor in this case, maybe he'd really say to Moe that he's not a clown but is the entire circus. Then again, they are working in a circus after all.
@@gravelfilledSoap i mean one whips u constantly and the other can chase a Tiger after you. I'd do the same to b honest. I am scared of pressing her in Court xD

@@bintangharapan424 oh come on, Regina is not that bad, neither is Max, he is just annoying in some specific moments, and Acro is SOMEHOW a great character too, not breaking down apart when Phoenix showed the whole truth, and Moe is not "the worse" either. Honestly? Ben/Trilo is the only one that I REALLY REALLY REALLY dislike in this case.
@@jvheroi2603i loved max but then the asking-a-16-year-old-for-her-hand TOTALLY threw me off acro is a great character too but another thing that threw me off is the fact he was originally planning to kill a sheltered child to give her a reality check, like cmon 😭
I never understood why people hated this case, I liked it a lot. ...though I guess it would be torture for people that are easily annoyed by people like Moe. I certainly wouldn't be able to stand him IRL.
You know, in a way, Acro DID get his revenge by accidentally killing the Ringmaster. If he hadn't sheltered Regina so much, then she wouldn't have been so lighthearted about Bat's accident, which wouldn't have pissed off Acro, which means he wouldn't have set the trap for her, which means that he never would have dropped the bust of Max on the Ringmaster's head, thinking it was Regina. Also, yes. She is very cute.
@@Snoo29293 I would say "Director Hotti and Sal" to it, this theme is always here, but AT LEAST Max tried to talk with the Ringmaster about it, and it was never said "when" they would get married, so Max could wait more years, it's possible. Just Trilo that ends up being unforgivable, thanks to the whole ring thing
山田春 yeah like the whole circus is a freakfest, like there's an annoying unfunny sad but likable clown, a innocent girl, a doll who wants to marry that innocent girl like how the fuck i'm gonna solve this lmao
Like many recuring themes, my perception of this one changes through the case. At first, it's Regina's, it's joyful, naive, and a little whimsicle. Then it's Acro's theme. It's bitter-sweet, depressing, and sarcastic. I feel like the music is mocking Acro, don't ask why or how...
I played this case years and years ago and literally the only thing I remembered about Regina from back then was how awkwardly her hair would move when she jumped
I think this music does a fantastic job at capturing the bittersweet feeling of the dying circus and the disillusioned characters that play in it. How everyone gradually has to open up to the reality of the world and come to terms with what happened. In that sense, I think this case had wonderful writing and music.
twelve years but, unfortunately, Acro's brother is another character that Capcom just forgot existed, there's a lot that should be happening but they forgot they created him in the first place, very sad. THAT'S WHY WE HAVE HEADCANNONS :'D
To be honest I liked Turnabout Big Top. I find it to be one of the most heartbreaking, emotional rollercoaster cases in the entire series. It was not the best, but it had enjoyable characters (or rather I think it depends on the people who easily get annoyed by guys like Moe or Trilo) and an interesting mystery. Acro was so tragic and wasn't a bad person at all. I kinda understood what made him go berserk and literally wish for Regina's death. I also don't understand why most people are so mad over the "cape falling onto the statue" resolution thing. I think this resolution was used as a callback to the mystical and "magical" nature of the case, something unbelievable and that you'd only see in a circus (lol). That's what made Big Top special to me. Overall it was a good case, and I feel like most people are exaggerating with how little credit they give it.
I can understand why Acro wanted this bitch dead. She gets his brother into coma, takes no responsibility for it, and then starts a romance with a fucking puppet, meaning that even if Bat did somehow wake up, he'd discover she'd have moved on to some creepy loser. On top of all that Acro lost his ability to walk, which not only confined him to a wheelchair, but also meant he would never again be able to perform, losing his passion as well. So yeah, all in all I can't say I wouldn't want to kill her myself if I were in his position.
@@murkyboykrow5277 The point isn't whether it was accidental, it was still 100% her fault, and she doesn't even show any remorse for it, let alone getting any sort of punishment. If someone ruined your life and put your only living relative in a coma, would you just be fine with it? For the record, I wrote this five years ago and I was being somewhat hyperbolic. I'm not saying it's all right to murder someone, more that I find it hard to blame Acro for his actions.
He didn't mean to kill Russell and it's heacvily implied that his own injury is what pushed him to kill. I mean imagine losing your brother and then being confined to a room unable to take care of yourself. And not only that, but seeing the person you feel responsible smiling at you everyday because they domt know any better. It is a great case.
Well thank god some people still put spoiler warnings. In this channel's SL-9 video, I found a comment that completely ruined Bridge to the Turnabout for me. SL-9 doesn't even have anything to do with Trials & Tribulations! Words cannot describe how utterly pissed I am. I was really looking forward to that case! Damn stupid people ruining everything...
I think that's the interesting point of the case. It's not simple as dividing good and bad people, there's an extense gray area and you can empathize with the suffering of the murderer. The most part of the case I just find annoying, but reflecting on Acro is interesting
I remember when I was always was happy to see Regina in the game because i was always like, "she's so pretty!" Then when I heard the lion + Bat story, im just like, ".............. so you asked your friend to put his head inside your pet lion's mouth, with pepper on his scarf........." After that it was pretty straight foward what happened.
@DreamWalker0914 Yeah, when I played this case, I was like, "BAT. DUDE. YOU'RE AN ACROBAT, NOT A LION TAMER." I don't know why everyone hates her, it's not her fault Bat's not...uh...the brightest tool in the shed.
Her father seems to have told her Bat died hence why she mentions the stars thing (meaning she had no idea he was comatose) and she DID take care of Acro every day for the six months after the accident showing she did care for them. But if you're taught, as a sheltered person, that death is not to be griefed, why would you expect her to grief? In the end, Acro wants to kill her because he is grieving and wanted her to grieve as well.
Regina is sooooo naive. There were some points I was like "seriously"? But she really is so cute like a princess no wonder all the guys at the circus fell for her charms :)
I actually really like this theme. I liked the case too, despite tons of people absolutely hating it. Sure, I didn't like it as much as most cases in the series (I've only played the trilogy so far) but I still had fun playing it.
Let's not even get into the fact she had no idea Bat would make a dare and try to put his head into the lion's mouth. She gave the scarf to him earlier than that. Even Acro makes no mention of him being explictly given the scarf right before the event, just that he was given the scarf that day. Either way,Acro had every right to confront Regina and make her wake up from her sheltered reality, but no one has a right to kill others just because of their OWN pent up grief.
You know, the courtroom in these games turns into a circus itself. Sometimes, the prosecutor is the only one who bears some common sense, but that goes only to Edgeworth and Blackquill
@HackedStats It was especially jarring how happy she was when talking about how her dad was just murdered. Then you find out the real reason it doesn't bother her... Most naive character in the history of fiction.
Case one is always tutorial (less time invested, less expectations--though 3-1 is the best in the whole series) 2 usually begins the main plot, and the last one is the wrapping up. Three is just there for filler, usually. (However, I think the padding is very necessary; without it, it would be quite rushed. Miles only prosecutes one case before his big turnaround? we're only going to spend one case on Godot before (*spoils*)? Plus, the cases themselves are good, so whatevs.
i actually liked this case alright but it just made me SO uncomfortable how everyone was crushing on regina like please that's a whole child 😐😐😐 yall are twice her age
DONT SPOIL PLEASE! I think the entire time that she is the killer because she seems to be way to happy.....but then i also think that Ben or acro are the killer....and i Really hope that Ben gets more talky without trilo and ditches that puppet for good outside of the Show.
@SegaGuy7 Actually, she did it because Bat did the same thing to her (putting pepper on her clothes and making her sneeze). She was trying to get back at him, but didn't realize that it would be the same day Bat would stick his head in a lion's mouth to impress her. She didn't get Bat injured on PURPOSE, it was just a horrible coincidence.
Ngl I struggled so hard with Turnabout Big Top. Like Acro is so fckn' hard like walking on a tightrope where a wrong step really ruins everything, even your life.
@ImRosalina Actually, if you go to the Ace Attorney Wiki, it has information on all the cases in GK2, and it's somewhat reliable since GK2 has been released in Japan.
He specifically didn't want him to know he didn't for it for that reason. It was to exact revenge, nothing could get in his way. Not even the man that basically raised him from a boy.
I might be one of the few people that actually doesn’t like Regina, haha. Also, does anyone else think it’s weird that she and Money were involved with TWO separate murder cases? Come on, that’s just a plot twist waiting to happen!
@Anim3Yhoox1 OBJECTION! I'll give you that Regina is as cutesy as Brittney tried to act, leading to some similarities. However! Brittney sang because she was talented and wanted to make money. *slams desk* Whereas Regina did her animal taming because it was all she knew! She was born and raised in the circus. It was her life, not a source of income! There's a massive difference!
@SashuRui Yeah, that award goes to Dahlia's dad for turning her into a psychotic killer with his abuse. Anyhow, the attempts by Regina's dad to shelter her from life ultimately got him killed which is ironic so to speak.
Also it's not her fault she believes people become stars when they die. She was isolated from regular society, and her father taught her everything, and that's what he taught her, so that's what she would believe, because she trusted her father.
@guardianforce1 Yep, it's true. From my understanding, she was called to a prison to perform an animal show for the inmates, but, of course, there was a murder there. Don't worry; even though it's been two years since the Turnabout Big Top incident, she's still just as cheery and innocent as before.
@TwilightAngel35 I see what you're trying to say, but I must disagree with your choice of words. Regina is not "spoiled." She doesn't live in a mansion. She lives in a circus. That's her life: in the spotlight in a glimmering outfit. It's only so because her father wanted to protect her from the outside world. Not spoiled: sheltered.
@TwilightAngel35 Yeah, but she doesn't seem to be the type of demanding like "I want this NOW!" It's more like "Can you get these for me pretty please?" *puppy dog eyes* Plus, it's her father's fault that she was so sheltered.
