It's poignant scenes like this, even if there's some floundering in the acting, that really inspire me to write. I love the young man's posture, his cigarette-eaten voice, and the viciousness sitting behind his eyes. I eat this stuff up!!!!
Dude said, "You not listening that's what it is. Dede day day happen ledde day day happen now!" There are cats that watched this shit in the theaters when it came out, lived a whole life, and went to the grave with no ufckin' clue of what he said. (00:01:39)
Had a whole parade in the street high school band with a couple vets and all just to throw hands in a field......DIABOLICAL 😂 these niggas had gang chants like they ready play the BIG Game
there ain't a SINGLE LICK of Hip-Hop in this 1974 movie which makes me think the 1973 Hiphop narrative is a lie. them broke Dudes couldn't afford DJ equipment until after stealing it in the 1977 blackout so THAT's when it all started.
I think he said "threadmarks" lol cause the doctors got to stitch treads around his eye's and face up after they fight lol.....which stitches leave marks on you like and football - or ZIPPER MARKS 💯🤣😂🎯🤑
This reminds me of the old head street crews in Philly during the early 60s. I've seen photos of crews like this from my uncles that were in these type of crews when they were teenagers. All of them got sent to Vietnam only 3 made it back alive.
