Wow, never seen this before in my life. But then again, i'm an 80's baby, and this looks like it was before my time. I think we (Black People), need to preserve and pass down this kinda stuff (They ain't gonna do it for us). This is our culture - Black Culture. Glad I found this channel. Salute.
There is no such thing as black culture, nor white culture, nor asian culture. The only cultures that exist were created by ethnicity, not skin colour, so im sorry to say this but the closest thing to black culture is in african countries where the majority is black.
Leoooonard actually hiphop (which include rap, dance and graffity) isn't black culture but a streetculture created by blacks, white, puerto ricains, mexicans etc in the low income neighberhoods. The blacks falsly claim it as "their culture" but that is just one of the many lies.
Kevin Gomez-johnson I am not discussing if there were black famous pionering rappers back in the day, for that is clearly selfevident. What I am saying is the hiphop culture itself is a low income neighberhood phenominal. The neighberhoods were just like the gangs in NY and Bronx at that time mixed (blacks, white, puerto rican, mexican) and they were all part of the hiphop culture (beatboxing and DJ_ing, spraying graffity, break dancing, rapping) they all inspired each other and even that black rapper you mentioned was influenced by others from his neighberhood. Ps what does Eminem has to say about it and why should I care about it? He is just like me and his words aren't the ultimate truth (just like my words aren't)
De paus van de Lilith Kerk You missed what I said, Hip hop was CREATED by DJ COOL HERC, He was a DJ from Jamaca, He wasn't inspired by anybody but himself, He is the forefather of hip hop, And other DJ's (DJ Jazzy Jeff, Grandmaster flash, Rakim, Eminem, Etc) All gave this man his dues because he created it, Puerto Ricans and African Americans, Mainly African Americans embraced this culture, There's a whole documentary on Netflix about it, You can search cool her.
