Bozeman is Full, traffic is reminiscent of a city 3-4x bigger. Watch out for the Bozeman special, 70% of traffic stops are undocumented , unregistered, and uninsured drivers, The urban campers are ruining many city blocks and trash the area, Social services are maxed out. The businesses are taking advantage of the housing shortage and are building employee housing charging insane rent prices rather an building single family homes. The median price has increased to 800K+. Colonize somewhere else. The city needs time to absorb the people it has now.
Living in Bozeman is too damn expensive Even the grocery stores down here Smith they want almost 20 bucks for for eggs are you kidding me this place sucks

If you like being around shopping dining, entertainment Ennis will be a nightmare . If you are a loner and want none of the above Ennis is still a nightmare.

We live in Hardin Montana. We have 17 teachers and families that came to town to teach our school kids, from the Philippines. They have no idea what happens in the snow and winter. Thank you for telling me about the bear spray being left in the car. I live in Maine and just took my bear spray out of my car. Eek, at least it didn't explode.
She is very honest and lined it out pretty well. What applies in the Gallatin Valley applies to the Flathead Valley also. If you are coming here, do your due diligence, its not like the TV show and reality here can be harsh. Never presume that it will change to pacify you because it wont. You have to be tough to live here year round, because all the money in the world isnt going to change 30 below in January, and the days being 8 hours long in December, or a month of smoke in the summer. Come see it first and decide, dont just come on a whim and overbid property just so you can say you have a place here.

I think there’s been an influx, certainly and a lot of folks don’t love it. But I tell ya what, lots of folks I talk to that are moving here aren’t liberals, so it’s hard to attribute changes to one particular group? Just my 2 cents. :)
Hi there! Bozeman doesn’t have any large lakes nearby, but Helena does, which is about an hour and a half north, OR there’s Ennis Lake to the east about an hour. :)
May I ask where you’re seeing the crime rate as high? I’m curious mostly because crime in the area is generally low and yes I do consider Livingston a safe place to live. :)
Yeah it’s tough for sure. With the right interest rate or down payment or even a cash buyer, it’s possible to cash flow, but it’s challenging nonetheless
@@lifeinbozemanmt Nope, been here for 48 years now and love the snow because I build my vehicles to handle it, but I have been hit head on in 90' and had to rebuild my truck.
Honestly it’s been that way for a while… many Montanans say they don’t like Bozeman - until they come for school, or a concert, or other fun! ;) People have been moving here for a loooong time really.
After watching this pbs news story about hiws it's legal to live in a camper. Im ready to come move there and buy a camper so i can live for free my camper. I will have mountain views and top notch skiing.
There is a lot of change in the area and discussion around the street camping situation. Many folks are displaced by the increased rents, etc. I’m not sure I’d recommend coming here just for that kind of living, but it’s your life!
@@lifeinbozemanmt I'm actually in the process of selling a house that's paid off for 900k where my taxes are 17k a year. After watching van life videos on RU-vid life is better living in a camper or a van at least for a few years to see how it goes.
