Hello. I didn't know how to make these before and now I do. It's not perfect but with some practice I'll be getting better and better at it. Your video helped a lot for a beginner in these like me xD. My favorite is the 2nd one when you make braids then wrap it around to make space buns. I tried and find it easier to wrap the hair around when it's braided than when it's just pigtail. Because with just pigtails, you need to twist the hair before wrap it around your scalp and I have hard time to twist it so I found that braiding the pigtails helped a lot, as the braids are kinda "twisted" in their own kind/way, I didn't need to struggle twisting it myself with finger. As I know how to make 3 strands braids, I could easily wrap it around to make a bun when the braid was made rather than just pigtail. So the easier one for me is the 2nd one. Also it stay better and longer when braiding before wrapping the bun. Since braids are rather thicker than pigtails, my buns stayed longer time with the 2nd method. With the first method my buns gets messy over few minutes and start falling down, that or I can't twist it enough well to make a proper bun. So yeah, for me, the 2nd one was the easier way, especially that I already knew how to make 3 strands braids. But for people who dont know how to braid, I'd recommand the first one. And for people who neither know how to braid nor to use bobby pins, I'd recommand the 3rd way, lol. Bobby pins were kinda hard to use but I found that when I put a lot of it in different places in my hair (on the buns), it stick better. Also people who dont know how to use hair pins: You have to wrap the pin inside the bun but also touching the scalp with the pin otherwise the bun can't get "stick" to the scalp and ends up falling down. You have to insert the bobby pin inside both bun and scalp. I also like the looks with the two little pieces of hair each side of the face (like in the 2nd and 3rd methods you showed). Space buns + little strands of hair each side of the face looks very traditional asian-like hair style. Which I love. Thanks a lot for your tutorial!!!!! And sorry if my English sounds a bit bad, I am french xD
Thank you for posting this video I dont know how to do hair but my sister wanted me to do her hair and she wanted this hair style so 2 hours later I finished and she loved it thank you
You ever hate when you really love this video you accidentally hit the dislike button and you meant to hit the like button so you gotta click on that and you know for a fact the creator saw that mistake 🥲
I put my hair up into the pigtails but didn't realize you said high on your head so I ended up looking like Draculara from Monster High but with glasses🥲🥲
watching this 5 years later, I remember when I used to wear this hairstyle pretty often. now, I'm gonna try and do it again (tho I doubt my hair will still cooperate)
then there's me who has messy frizzy thick medium hair, when I tried this I thought it would never work but then I tried it and then well I LOOKED LIKE A QUEEN!
