my hair is really thick and curly. i found most types of buns work best when they're in a pony tail, then twisted and circled into a bun, like the first one in the video
*parts her hair* Me: Wait! Wait!! *struggles to begin parting my mane of hair* *makes the buns* *struggles to remove a brush that has lodged itself to my head*
I just want to say, thank you for not using extensions in this tutorial. I have struggled to find a space bun video that the person demo-ing the hairstyles has used their real hair / short hair. I really hope with this help I can pull these off!
what an easy way to wear them....i use to rock em in the 90's and being a mother of 2 @the age of 40 I think I'm going to rock this look tomorrow. thanks love ❤
That was the same with my hair a year ago! I suggest getting a haircut -- I used to have my hair pretty long, reaching to my chest, and I cut it to above the shoulders, and it really helped my hair a lot, I hope it helps you too!
This really helped me to do my buns my friend was being mean to me wearing them but who cares they SO CUTE thank you totally subscribing love you ur so cute 💕
Chrissy Long I was really scared too to wear them in school but at the end it wasn't a big deal at all. No one said anything insulting and I got some compliments on looking cute :)
The only reason I am really good at putting my hair in any ponytails is because I wear my hair up 99.9 percent of the time at school and places and most of the time I do it myself
@@BookNerdAvpm thats my go to hair style too, my mom gets tired of it lol. I have super thick hair so I have no patience to style it, although I wish I did.
I just did # 2 and it turned out soooo cute!! It was easy and the Bobby pens holding it look better than holding it with a clear pony tail holder. Thanks again
you know the like Real space buns (as in the big ones not the lil knots) are called space buns bc of leia right? girl if u look like leia u did it right!!!
I have got short hair and found everything hard even a ponytail and this video saved my life because no matter where I am going I can now do space buns YAY😄😄😄
It works with mine and I have really difficult and very ringletly curly hair. It depends on how curly it is. Is it like telephone cords curly or wavy curly or ringlet curly
Me: *Looks up how to put space buns in even though I already know how* Me: *struggles to put pigtails in* Me: *Rips out a lot of hair trying to put pigtails in* Me: *Looks up how to put pigtails in* Anyone else? No... Okay
I don't watch her so I'm asking but dot take offense to this I was just wondering but what's going on with her chest? Does she have a scare or what? Not trying g to be mean
Hello. I didn't know how to make these before and now I do. It's not perfect but with some practice I'll be getting better and better at it. Your video helped a lot for a beginner in these like me xD. My favorite is the 2nd one when you make braids then wrap it around to make space buns. I tried and find it easier to wrap the hair around when it's braided than when it's just pigtail. Because with just pigtails, you need to twist the hair before wrap it around your scalp and I have hard time to twist it so I found that braiding the pigtails helped a lot, as the braids are kinda "twisted" in their own kind/way, I didn't need to struggle twisting it myself with finger. As I know how to make 3 strands braids, I could easily wrap it around to make a bun when the braid was made rather than just pigtail. So the easier one for me is the 2nd one. Also it stay better and longer when braiding before wrapping the bun. Since braids are rather thicker than pigtails, my buns stayed longer time with the 2nd method. With the first method my buns gets messy over few minutes and start falling down, that or I can't twist it enough well to make a proper bun. So yeah, for me, the 2nd one was the easier way, especially that I already knew how to make 3 strands braids. But for people who dont know how to braid, I'd recommand the first one. And for people who neither know how to braid nor to use bobby pins, I'd recommand the 3rd way, lol. Bobby pins were kinda hard to use but I found that when I put a lot of it in different places in my hair (on the buns), it stick better. Also people who dont know how to use hair pins: You have to wrap the pin inside the bun but also touching the scalp with the pin otherwise the bun can't get "stick" to the scalp and ends up falling down. You have to insert the bobby pin inside both bun and scalp. I also like the looks with the two little pieces of hair each side of the face (like in the 2nd and 3rd methods you showed). Space buns + little strands of hair each side of the face looks very traditional asian-like hair style. Which I love. Thanks a lot for your tutorial!!!!! And sorry if my English sounds a bit bad, I am french xD
Thank you so much for this video xx I love Space buns but I can never do them so I Have never worn them x I'm definitely going to wear these on Thursday when I go to see Disney on ice xx Anyway thanks again ❤
omg thankyou sm for making this video because i spend 30 mins doing one side on this other video and then i come across your video and it takes me only about 5 mins to do one side ( 5 mins is good for a person that never was good at doing hair styles) tysm again i liked this video
Okay so I've kinda always did my hair into space buns but recently my hair has grown so much it's nearly impossible to do it otherise than with braids, hence why I watch vids on how to do them other ways and your 1) and 3) (very classy but only possible until shoulder-length) just doesn't work on me anymore because there's too much hair to hold up... Any suggestions?
