I plan to apply to UF for finance for fall 2025. I will graduate highschool with my aa, my weighted gpa is 4.6 and i’m top 10% of my class. On the downside, my sat is only 1200. Do I still have a good chance of getting in?

Are you still considering grad school? Im a lurker for different careers on YT, so I am not super familiar with the world of finance. But i personally know some guys who were analysts/associates in NYC (for smaller firms) and eventually became VPs and Directors (for still smaller firms) without needing a MBA. Do you think in 2024 the financial cost of an MBA is still worth it? I def think it is for certain cases, but some people already seem to be in a good position.

in India, we call it as get only as IIMs (Indian Institute Of Management) IIM Ahmedabad, Banglore, Calcutta, Lucknow, Kozhikode and Indore. IIM ABC get most of front office role in Goldman JPMC Avendus cap and other premium banks. and these IIMs combined as BLACKI IIMs for Finance roles or MBB in consulting. to get in top 3 IIMs there are 350000 applicants, makes it more competitive than US elite B school like Stanford Wharton Harvard Columbia Stren. banks or MBB prefer IIM ABC grad as good as harvard because of cut throat competition meanwhile education quality is not even 20% of Wharton Level but candidate are
