I have a theory. While kratos did kill alot of people by killing the rulers of greece.. he did free them from the oppression of Zeus.... and gave them hope. Maybe Olympus could now start over in a new light? I don't know.
@Xevnir thank you! I would like to see that as well! Because even Athena tried to keep the power hope from Greece. Look, I am not saying the kratos is a good person or anything. But all I am saying is the dude broke a lot of eggs to make an omelet with this one. And let's be honest, the rulers were complete assholes. Even Gaia told kratos that the people were rooting for him (even though kratos really didn't care, lol). I think that if we went back to Greece, they would ain't be rebuilding in a more peaceful manner, or at least the balance would be more natural. Anyway enough about my theory. I have a question. What is the next thing they are doing with God of war? Is kratos going back to Egypt or not?
@@calebhenderson6507 I wonder if Greece is more technologically advanced because of the power of hope. 🤔 As for sequels, I have no idea but my guess would be Egypt - since there are hints in Ragnarok. Could also be another mythology as they are hinted at as early as in 2018 (Tyr's shrine).
The way I keep video games relevant is just by looking at them differently. They're not something to get absorbed and lost in anymore. They're problem-solving activities with a story attached to them. They need to have that hook of presenting a challenge to overcome and a reward. A lot of games fail at that and you just feel like you're on rails while engaging in the same combat you've experienced in a dozen other titles. It's why I like deck builder and turn-based strategy games so much.
It's a tricky situation I can relate to. But like many other things in life, you grow out of things and find something else to replace it. It could be travelling instead, writing or spending time with family. But at least for me, I've made peace with it!
