In general If a rake Is no higher than 5% and no more than a few BB. (1BB-6BB) anymore than that Is extremely hard to beat If not impossible. For a rake to be beatable! Can't have alot of pro's lots of fish.... Needs to be no higher than 5% And the capp has to be lower than 6BB's. The lower the better. Casino's charge between 10-15% because there high end. They got staff and bills to pay. Generally, anything over 5% Isn't worth playing. Don't play where skilled players are.... Don't play games above 5% Don't play In games with no rake cap. They are cap less games avoid them. In micro stakes you need to 3 bet 4 bet and C bet alot more often.
Well it’s the 8th f$#@ing day in Michigan and these incompetent idiots at wsop-mi have still not my account unlocked.WSOP online is scum. I drove 900 miles to Michigan because wsop-mi, because they were one of the 3 states where nonresidents could play. I got here Sunday may 9, 2024 and went online. When I logged in there geo location software recognized I was in Michigan. Then the website refused to accept my deposit., I spent hours trying to get customer service, and they told me they would escalate my claim but then they disabled my account. I spent 5 days trying to get them to let me play with absolutely nothing more than an auto generated email that tells me nothing. If you believe in fairness please do you part to support me because I have wasted a lot of time and money to travel just to play online and have been treated like shit by the Wsop

Awesome stuff. Thanks for the food recs. Going to be there for a week in early July and staying at PH. Not cuz of the comps but because rooms were so cheap. With Caesers Diamond I am paying $30/night!
I quite like a limp in with a strong hand utg and hope for this scenario, you can check call most streets then check raise the river or turn (as you mentioned trapping) to exploit this strategy. Typically mixing it up between raising and limping utg works quite well. Also, you can do this in inverse where because your range has to be tighter in early positions, a 3BB raise from utg+1 with like mediocre hands like J8o, K6o something with a face card is quite a good bluff of strength as you’re early position. If I find that a lot of people will bet big on the button and cut off so it’s a good way to take that advantage away from players if you see it happen over and over at the table.
For example a weak ace could easily check call that board utg as it’s a reasonably unthreatening board after the turn and you could even check raise the ace on the river as the cut off can bluff it telling 10x or the ace himself. Worth mixing it up though isn’t it?
Obviously jacks and 9s are a fold the king was the first card they should have known. Probably got greedy and wanted the cash rather then playing the hand 🤦♂️
