I raced for close to 5 years and for those that may not know. Everything seems much faster on the water because you're closer to the water so to speak making everything go by alot faster. My boat was called Rawhide and the fastest I ever went was around 198 MPH. We had a 429 Boss and what beautiful music that thing made going down the lake.

Take this as "law" on the water.... I PROMISE you that what takes place on the course IS NOT left there when everyone puts feet on the shore.... At least ONE of the cms crew would have gotten smashed post race... Not even kidding a little bit.. Talk about BS moves against Geico... ONCE I had a lapped POS blocking like this... Took me half the damn race to finally get rid of him.. Oh, I won my class.. I would have won unlimited. Probably the only time I grounded my boat at the end, and put knuckles on another racer... I'll quote the race director: "WHY are you mad!?! You won!???" No i DID NOT.. Screw classes....I would have won it across the board if it wasn't for a little vaggy named Joe Wiliams.. This guy is only #1 in losing.. One thing is absolutely certain after that day... I have mad respect for each and all who raced me HARD.. Nobody EVER played that game with me again... #FAFO !

Hey Guys...After 50 some years of racing cars and some boats I've come to the conclusion We don't bring sand to the beach .. which translates out to We don't bring our GF or our Wives .Why because our focus has got to be 100% on the task we can't be worried about what our GF sees or feels or how she might feel if we wreck all that Bullshit we leave at home...just sayin..In the grand scheme of racing Why burden yourself with BS who feels what ?
