Hi! Thanks! I think they are called adjustable door frame screws in English. There are anchor threads under the head of the screw that grip the stud so you can adjust it both inwards and outwards.
Hi! The frame is actually very strong. Problems may arise when the installation is done poorly. The frame has to be attached properly on the wall and the floor. Covering the frame with construction boards needs attention as well. With conventional toilet I like the fact that everything is visible and sits on the ground. Definitely feels secure. At the same time the wall hung toilet looks a bit more minimalistic and is easier to clean around it.
Hi! Then I would measure the center of the door and mark the center on the guiding jig. The edge of the door would be the guiding point. That way I could use it. But yes, it is a bit more difficult.
Any advice for removing an old one thats glued on? It recently broke but it turns out the previous homeowners dumped a load of glue to seal it to the counter top. No amount of scraping seems to make it budge
Hi! It happens from time to time. I have used utility knife with longer blade to cut through the glue as much as possible. Then check from underneath if there are any additional attachments to the countertop. I would dry to move it from underneath. If this does not help, I would take a chisel or something similar, place a trowel on the countertop to protect it and try to use chisel to lift the stove slowly moving from side to side.
Now draw round it while it’s sat in place, then router the area the edge is sitting on 0.5mm less than the thickness of the glass surface. It will sit so much nicer recessed into the worktop in my opinion. ..Just an opinion though..
Hi! Definitely one possibility. Then you have to seal the gap properly, so it would not collect any stuff from cooking. A bit harder to do but if there is a will, there is a way :)
Hi! I think it would depend on the proper attachments for the drywall(gypsum board). That is the weaker link than the frame. I installed two layers of drywall so it would be better to attach such a thing. It is always possible to install a piece of plywood on the frame before installing drywall boards to have the strength needed to install a fan. It is necessary to know the weight of the fan and the find attachments accordingly. Hope it helps :)
Hi! Would have been faster and better cut. I do not own this tool. At least not yet. Plunge saw would have been great as well. Both are in my tools needed list.
Can be. Specially when you find that out in the end of the assembly :) . On the other hand, having no holes gives possibility to choose between different door handles.
Hi! thanks for watching! This hob had attaching details already integrated into it. I just had to use a light force to push it down in the right place without any silicone or glue. Some require silicone like product. The others have attachments where you have to use screws. It really depends on the product.
Hi! Yes I did. When the old plaster is not removed and I do not know exactly what layers there are, I use some stuck primer or plaster weld to have better connection.
Hi! According to the standards in the place where I live, we have to achieve waterproofness of a bathroom before tiling. Tiles and grout are not considered to be 100% waterproof. There are different zones in the bathroom according to the water load. Walk in showers require extra attention. You can choose between different hydroisolation systems. The one I used in this video, is the most common. This bathroom is in 100 years old log house on the second floor. It is crucial to make the bathroom as watertight as possible. There are probably different practices in other parts of the world. I just show how I work. One way to do it :)
Hi! I rented this lift. I managed to find a name from the rental place webpage. STARKE ARVID 23000. Hopefully it is correct. For my work, it was a bit heavy duty. I could have managed with lighter one, but this was only one available at the time.
