What the guy was saying was misleading. Yes it operates at same frequency spectrum as our ovens but he did not mention at what power. Microwave ovens operate at high power that is why our food gets hot. That is the effect of non ionizing radiation...it is heat. Cellphones operate at a much lower power. That is why we see cell towers every 3km or so because signals degrade faster due to their low power design. I am working in the wireless industry for more than a decade and I am still alive. All of my friends who work in the same field have kids as well and still alive. This guy is spreading fear and misinformation.

This is a major problem. Every kid at school has one on them every day at school. Even if your kid doesn't have one, the kid in front, beside, and behind do. They are being exposed all day every student. We need to ban phones in schools. I don't understand why they were ever allowed in the first place.
