Where??? Why does the news keep saying Houston. This really isn’t accurate. I’m in Houston. No flooding in the city center. Normal totally normal day here.

Can you read a Magnusson? Houston encompasses a huge area. It can easily be clear and dry on the west side and t-storms and flooding on the east side.

Tropical Storm Allison - June 2001 , dropped a crazy 40 inches of rain. The storm hoover over mostly central downtown , s.e. of town and impacted the 45 corridor and the n.e. side - east of Houston. I remember it very well & can tell you I was on my patio when the rain came. My old neighborhood was completely underwater. I talked to my cousins west of town before Katy ..They had gotten not a drop. People fail to realize how huge Houston actually is.
