Pillow-talk, but not in the bedroom. A husband and wife have conversations about nothing in particular and also infinitely everything (all in how you frame it).
A great story teller,a man with passion, gives the audience the full package, the story, the volume, the facial expressions the love for his career... Sadly missed but because of technology we can still enjoy his shows...
I know the Angels love him. They must laugh most of the time. I will always love him. Number one . I could watch his shows over and over. He was such a funny man
Definitely sad that John failed to overcome his health issues and the underlying causes. I particularly like this segment since it isn't about food or being fat and has a very valid message even if his math is hopelessly exaggerated. It is true that warranties are a waste of money but so too is spending $4000 for a TV with sound. But also if you can afford this you definitely don't need to buy warranties. The real tragedy is people buying at these price points even though they can't afford to and then they both borrow money and buy a warranty. But then the real point is knowing that these sales are often on commission which is why the push to upsell is so aggressive. The real reason to buy the warranty really is that it rewards the salesman more so than the customer.
I remember the year he died he was suppose to perform at my local improv about 2 months after it happened. Was gonna go with my dad but man how I wish we knew him sooner. We would’ve been dying of laughter.
They tried this crap when I went to Buddys, says right in the agreement that they cant force you to buy the extended warranty as a condition of renting from them and the manager tried this crap where she was like oh I dont allow people to rent electronics without the warranty. I pointed to the black and white terms that she was breaking and she huffed off and took it off the agreement.
