Sims 4 devs are more concerned about being trans and black hairstyles and who they have pervert sex with than they are making a game. I think all these people do at work is go on trans grinder or whatever it is 😂🤷🏻♀️
Sims 2 is the best one IMO. If they add sims 2 gameplay with a small open world and a few upgrades from 3 and 4. I would buy the whole series again.. I miss it.. I still have sims 2. I haven't been able to part with it...😢
Sims 2 was the best of all... it really was. Gosh i loved it so much. I play a lot Sims 4 and i like it (never liked Sims 3 that much because of all the bugs and the "piggy faces") but it's not nearly as good as Sims 2 was...
Call me crazy but I much prefer the sims 2 graphics even. The sims 4 objects and environment feels too plasticky and everything lacks textures and detail, making the rooms feels weirdly empty, hollow and soulless for example imo. I enjoy (even the sometimes ugly) aesthetic that the sims 2 & sims 3 have bc it has personality and flair
Sims 2 have better gameplay, graphics, interaction, details, etc. Sims 3 and 4 may have more variety in other stuff such as tree houses, more woohoo spots, occults with way more abilities, open world in sims 3 and better sim appearances in sims 4 and so on but sims 2 has better aesthetic that is also cozy to me.
What i don't like in sims 2 is that it doesn't have aliens WITH abilities, mermaids and fairies but other than that, it's superior to all the other sims games even though sims 4 does have the best create a sim and sims 3 has open world.
I don’t even consider Sims 4 part of the franchise, it’s a sad excuse of a sims game. Sims 1-3 were really good and they each had their own little neat things to offer so you could enjoy it all. (My opinion ofc❤)
Everything makes so much sense when you discover that TS4 were supposed to be an online multiplayer game! I mean, why putting so much detail in an online multiplayer RPG, the characters development wouldnt be relevant. And that explain a lot of downgrades appart from characters behaviours. TS4 is 10yo now, it really is a shame that EA stayed on the plain smooth characters made for multiplayer game, they could have added so luch things with the multitude of packs, or even in basegame with all the updates they make. Maybe they had put all the bet on the personality traits to not concentrate on the details of the game, but that's too bad. I really hope TS5 will bring back all the small details that gave life to Sims and their world!
in the sims 4 your sims gain weight so fast if you don't have them do cardio every day. like they could be actively gardening/cleaning/working/whatever and eating healthy and their entire body shape changes just from eating food when they're hungry, it makes no sense. i think the sims 3 system of each sim returning to their default natural weight if you don't try to change it is way more realistic.
the voice acting in the sims 4 is so bad; there's no context behind it at all. child sim asks parent to spray the monster under the bed in the most casual way possible, all the while being scared to go back to sleep. i stopped playing the sims 4 six months ago after sinking 4500 hours into it, and i don't miss it at all.
I miss the extra animations and I hate that they shy away from proper transitions with constraints and things just magically pop into your hand or pop on a surface. As an animator, it really irks me because it’s so lazy and we now actually HAVE plugins to make it easier to set up and animate compared to back then. The Sims 2 and sims 3 animations were so satisfying. PLEASE hire more long term animators 😢 not just contractors for new packs that do a choppy job because their time constraints in the contract is only 3-6 months and they need to make a deadline. I want heart back into the game 😭
As someone who only played TheSims 1, I'm honestly shocked at how good TheSims 2 is, never actually looked into it, but they really put a lot lof love into the game.
We can forgive sims 3 has some details missing due to its ambitious scope of the design, so some sacrifice had to be made. I cant say the same for sims 4 thoooo.....
Sims 4 is just built on fear. It’s scared to trigger or offend us. I feel like I am playing with my inauthentic, traumatised people pleasing ”friend”. Maybe its just a realistic reflection of the state of the world rn.
Sims 4 literally a money GRAB packs are extremely expensive and excessive. Like why is cottage living and horses separate! Its so upsetting. I mean I played sims 3 with no packs or mods and it was extremely fun. Sims 4 you literally have to customize your own game you got the whole community doing stuff to essentially fix the game and now their trying to make a 5th one? This is why I pirate all the packs bc no ones paying 1000+ for a broken game. Like 💀
I remembered something... In Sims 4 family members can also help with diorama projects (which I like for a some reason 😄). And I sometimes get messages with options, how teenager should act in different situations - the choice affect their behaviour. There is also some interesting pack (which I don't have), where family members can cook meals together.
A couple notes: Reading skill books to kids in 3 actually teaches them the skills from the book. I end up using them the most for that reason. Its not just nurturing sims who can ground kids. Its all sims. Its actually a bit excessive from my experience. In The Sims 2, children can be encouraged by to pursue certain activities related to a parents personality points. For instance, sims who are neat can encourage neatness in the child and they will do a neat activity right after.
@@janpetercok7315 me too prefer sims 2 if i want to create a family of basement dweller who never socialize with people outside their home because going through loading screen really break immersion for me😀
@@janpetercok7315 i love rabbit holes, it's a massive improvement from sims 2, basically sims should travel to designated building to work or school instead just magically dissapear from front of their house and made their expensive cars actually have a real function instead just expensive decoration like in other sims😄
@@keenanz9882 they could be just hood Deco but atleast they have detailed animated movement when get in n out of driveway instead of teleporting yeah i know they just get rid of it to keep the game running lol, and some little cutscene when small moment happens? Those are wholesome details that make the game feels so Charm and less cutting corner and simmers wish they had them the later series 😊
My heart goes to Sims 3 but Sims 2 is very close behind. I miss my sims 3 teens autonomously doing bad things like egging the neighbors' houses and being brought back by the cops and being autonomously grounded by a parent for it. Also miss how the sims were affected by relatives death in 3. Sims 3 forever ♥️
sims 3 is the best in the franchise to me in terms of overall gameplay, but sims 2 is a very close second. so disappointing seeing the decline. to be eons behind a game 10 years your senior, mind you sims 4 gets updates to this day. just sad.
