The second track is not " from time to time" by Paul motion..... it's a standard whose Name escapes me at the moment but has a similar melodic structure to darn that dream and everything happens to me

Eternally grateful of this beautiful material! I'm making my own backup in tape of all these you upload here, with a little correction of bias to less sharpen... and that works!: The analog sound got is very very natural as you are there in the scene. Thanks a lot from Argentina.

Great performance. Great quality for live recording, too. I like the studio ECM recordings with this trio...but these are...well, in the ECM mold production-wise...which, overall, I love...but it's nice to hear a decent live document of this group...the rawness and immediacy of it...notwithstanding the joyous complexity of the playing, of course!

the note in the description about disassociating from any political activism is a little strange since all of the songs covered are anti-fascist or anti-dictatorial. seems like a low bar to still want to disassociate against. haden would have found the cultural motivations of the music inextricable from the music itself

What matters here is the music, not the political message. Be sure that there is no provocation in this comment.

I'm pretty sure this is my recording (it's possible there was another taper in the audience but this sounds like my recorder/mic combo). This was a free concert that was held out in the gardens behind the museum. At one point you can hear a police siren go by. They were a magical band.

“We disassociate ourselves from any political activism”. Well, isn’t that depressing. And cowardly. “Our interest is purely musical”. As Hanns Eisler said, “those who only know about music don’t know about that, either”.

Interesting comment at the beginning. I understood that Miles did write Nardis, but never recorded it; that Bill Evans played on it on Cannonball's album, and that Miles said that Evans was the only one in the group who "got it". None of them are alive today to say otherwise, including Chick Corea. Still interesting to hear this later date from the Blue Note. I'm a big fan of Paul Motian and listen to a lot of sets by a lot of people, just to hear him. Thanks for this.
