This is the absolute best video I have seen for making stickers for cameo silhouette. I don't need somebody telling me their life story and explaining why they are making stickers... I just want to know how to do it. So thank you for getting straight to the point.
so weird I try to do a test cut and I only had photo paper, and it slides around and out. It's almost completely messed up at this point.. I don't know what I'm missing honestly. EDIT: because you need to remove the blue protective layer from the mat as it supposed to be sticky. They didn't tell me this anywhere lol.
I’m new to this but I added a layer and outlined the image with white. That makes an automatic outline and just make sure that layer is all the way in the back
Thank you for this tutorial! My 11 year old is an artist and wants to start a sticker biz. This is exactly what we needed to know to help support him in his endeavors.
Thank you for the help with this. One question, how do you add multiple designs to one file. It always seems to crash my software or not work at all if I try to add more than one design to a sticker sheet
I’m having the worst tine getting my HP Envy to print the correct colors - especially teal and purple…any suggestions for print settings ? I use a MAC if that matters…otherwise I”m ready to throw the printer out the window. Uugh….great video by the way - learned a lot !
While the laminating film is weatherproof, the problem is with the cut seam. I have tried so many things, but because the sides are cut, any water or moisture gets in and the ink can bleed.

@w.8329 if you want to be able to claim insurance if lost or stolen, then yes. I've just started dropping them off if they are under a certain value. Wait in line if they are over a certain value.
I print the stickers (using a regular printer) onto a sticker sheet (regular paper with peel off backing) and then put it on the cutting mat and use the cameo to cut. The cameo (and all other cutting machines) do not print.
Wow! My first steps of interest in sticker making and then this? It wastes so much space on the sheet. Why? The video also doesn't show how to fix the sheet on the mat if I buy sticker sheet in A4 size which already are adhesive. I suppose, in this case I wouldn't use the mat and directly feed the sheet which the plotter is supposed to only scratch, not cut.
great tutorial ! what kind of printer did you use? many years ago, i had an epson wide format, and i was able to get an aftermarket refillable ink reservoir, does such thing still exist these days? thanks
Not at all! The laminate just helps with an extra layer of durability. Just know that these stickers (with or without the laminate) are not waterproof.
