Notice the slight slight, very slight similarities in melody to K.Lumsy's theme in Dk64. This was likely repurposed in some way into his theme I'm guessing.
This, compared to the final version, sounds like you'd been lost at sea for a long-ass time, probably shipwrecked like the Gloomy Galleon... Until you see a lush landscape before you, now knowing damn well you're going to survive! Thrive, in fertile clay!

This song wasn't supposed to be for banjo kazooie in the first place. It was going to be the theme for a map in dream called "adventure" so no its not fungus forest or giant's lair
@@kaasxsx3452 I'm not trying to come off as mean at all but, you are wrong, because Grant Kirkhope said it was intended for dream as the music on a map called adventure so maybe that's what advent is short for. But somehow ended up in banjo kazooies files. So I am not trying to start an argument or be mean here.
@@Time_for_dessert from what ive seen it indeed started in dream but moved on to bk for funghi forest which would have been where click clock wood is now which then changed to funghi forest being in dk64 which is why in bk the puzzle room for click clock wood is so far away from the actual level. Regardless its a damn shame that they didnt use advent one of the best game level soundtracks ive ever heard!
Always loved how Grant Kirkhope never let really good parts of his unused music go to waste. You can clearly hear Angry Aztecs themes in this song which would be used in DK64, as well as Hideout Helm, plus this song made it to Tooie, and most of the unused music from Banjo made it to DK64, the DK island theme for example
Is it weird that I like this theme more than the final boss theme we got for Gruntilda for the first game. Don’t get me wrong, they’re both fantastic songs, but I just love the ferocity of this one, this song in the first game paired with the tonal shift we’d see in Banjo Tooie would’ve probably cemented Grunty as a really scary villain
