Ah, Bostom proper, Beacon Hill, Somerville, in the rain. This is NICE..making me sleepy and calm...Not so much white noise--it's more of a "pink noise," and I love it. A welcoming blissfull invasion on your central nervous system, ASMR like you want it.
Hi there! Thank you so much, I'm so happy you enjoyed the 'pink noise' 😉 Its good to know i'm capturing the ASMR correctly.👍 I was having some health issues, but will be making/posting more videos soon!
@RoamAmbie thank you for the awesome Boston walking vids . I always wanted to move to Boston but now at my age that opportunity passed me by. Your videos give me the real feel of Boston. Thanks!!
The rain-infused stroll was a delightful experience, immersed in a serene ambiance accentuated by the tranquil sounds of the rain. The atmospheric beauty of the moment was truly enchanting, providing a soothing backdrop that was thoroughly enjoyed.
I saw the title and I wondered to myself where the heck is Davis square in Boston?! Well you're a couple of towns away from Boston but that's okay, Somerville looks beautiful with the snow. I haven't been there in many years since my grandmother lived there and it's a lot like I remember.
Beautiful as this is, please note that it's Somerville, not Boston. And it's more than just Davis Square, it also covers nearby Ball Square (20:22) which has some excellent breakfast diners (21:42).
Hi there, thanks for clarifying - Boston was put for general vicinity. I also have a video of Ball Square with the new green line subway/light rail station: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NKy_TbpjCEA.html Ball Square also has great little wine/beer shop - Ball Square Fine Wines.
I may have also had the ISO set low (100 or 200), I would stop recording and increase ISO to like 400 if it looked dark on screen, but when doing color grading, i try to sharpen colors and make blacks darker to get rid of any kind of 'grainy' look on dark spots. i'm looking for one of those evening college classes/community college nigh class to see if they have a course on video making.
@@RoamAmbie I would suggest to try LOG-profiles, this helps preserve highlights and makes "film-like" brighness response. Then just adding some contrast on editing - mostly enough. If your camera has no Log-profile (like DJI Pocket for example) then just select the most "flat" profile (D-Clike for DJI). Generally noise in shadows is not that distracting in video and many editors prefer to add it (if there is no). Good luck with your projects, thank you for beautiful work!
i agree, lots of good bakeries the first one on the left at the beginning has really good moon cakes and egg tarts - the cheapest egg tarts on the street.
