Thanks for the comprehensive video. To those who want to plan a trip, I would suggest to include a pit stop at Belfast, Derry, Connemara, Burren, Sligo, Killarney and Wicklow
I went counterclockwise out past Hofn in February, then went back to Reykjavik. Took it slow and spent 2 weeks along the south coast, intentionally left a lot unexplored for next time!!
@@travelwithwes nice we were there in march and we went all the way around. Got stuck in myvatn but overall it was one of the best trips I ever took. i would like to go back I summer one year and check out the westfjords and also see myvatn.
Blessed to live in the mountains and even more blessed to raise my kids here. Growing up having the wilderness of Banff and surroundings as your playground is a privilege they will only understand the full extent of as they get older.

Unless things have changed it was generally allowed the places I went. Try to avoid people, be prepared for windy conditions, and check if you need to register your drone in advance (which would be with the first EU country you plan to fly in). I registered my drone with Ireland and it’s supposed to carry over to other EU countries. Hope that helps

You’ll love it! And Taste of Iceland has lots of great souvenirs. Their jalapeño jam is 🔥 and if you only eat 1 hot dog during your visit, get it where I went in the video it’s their OG location. Enjoy!
