Hello everyone my channel is called the Portuguee Prepper. I've been apart of RU-vid for years, but only as an observer until now. I finally decided to try out posting some of my own videos since I figured I was doing a lot of what I was watching anyways. I'll be covering a variety of content on this channel from gardening, raising chickens and pigs to hunting and woodworking projects. This is going to be more of a homesteading channel than prepping. I hope you guys join me for the this experience.
Thank you so much. I was planning to get chickens but i never want then to mate because i sometimes think the rooster is raping the hen so i get angry and chase them.
What plow and winch setup are you using? I am thinking about throwing a plow on my daughter’s little Brute Force 300 so she can plow with me. Looks like it did extremely well for a 2wd 300
Better look on the Inside of the front Wheels. There are grease inserts on each one. ALSO, you have a "Drive" or "Motion" Belt above the deck belts that Need inspected. I just replaced mine after 4 years. Not an easy task but well worth the trouble.
At 4:10 - Safety Note: it is not a handle to hold onto, it is a kickback bar that will stop against your leg to prevent the shaft and blade from coming back towards you. Instructions say it is not a handle.
man I coulda used that :( just found my runt hen with one hell of a gash on the right side of her back... I can only assume my rooster tryed to rape her.... can u plz tell me how to heal her...she should have stitches tho ..any ideas without ??? she now rapped up..gash is clean...she's in my house...ill have too get rid of rooster?
This is late, late, but if anyone ever finds this comment; it means your rooster is over-mating your girls. If a rooster would rather harm than protect the flock, they are not a good rooster at all. Trim back his spurs, but it will still cause damage to the skin. If sadles don't work and your hens are in a pen, totally separate the rooster from any of your hens before he kills them. Chickens will peck at blood when they see it and wounds on chickens can very easily get infected. In the end, roosters are only there to protect and fertilize. If you arent looking for either and keep your hens in a pen, do not have a rooster! It is very hard to find a rooster that is gentle with the ladies. He should also not be pulling out any of the ladies feathers either, nor picking on them.
Im new chicken owner and i have 6 hens and 1 rooster my rooster is also being aggressive to my chickens and peeling there feathers i have 3 questions if anyone can help me.. 1.should i trip my roosters nails? 2.or separate my rooster from my hens? Thank u.
Nice job family! Good for you for exploring the ways of of grandparents, otherwise known as prepping! Your awesome! Did the same with my kids for the past 20 years( young adults now!). Im homesteading now in northern New Mexico!
My chicks are approximately 3 weeks old I'm having a hard time figuring out their sex, I also have a couple of araucana oh, and they don't seem to get the same type of Combs and wattles as regular chickens any suggestions?
Hello, I have an incubator just like it but I have lost the manual so I wanted to ask you please if you could send me a copy of yours, I will be very grateful.
This is exactly what my roosters doing to two of my hands especially one. I've been trying to figure out how to separate them with I can't really figure it out I only have one in house but these little jackets are pretty neat. I wonder if there's any way I could just make something to put on it for now until I can maybe order it because I'm afraid that they going to open the skin and then the other chickens are going to start packing your I feel like I need to separate her and I can't figure out how
