@@steveswiat I guess depends if they pay the price for this gem. A civic Si is really hard to get. Mine is like new condition. I’m not into racing, but with the right offer I could do the sti
LOL this is for sure. Since getting my Raptor I find the STI less and less comfortable as a daily. Its strictly a weekend car now and might be for sale soon.
@@steveswiat I suspect the Raptor is the same. For a daily driver, short or long distance, comfort is most important. Of course a car should have enough power and stability safely overtake and manoeuvre out of dangerous situations. If you want to go fast, go on a racetrack or get a bike (put yourself and not others into imminent danger).
@@steveswiat mileage is also another area, road and wind noise (compared to a lower car). Without a bed box carrying coats, bags and other clean things, cargo is in a way lacking. I have a Wrangler, it's a terrible car, but I love it and that's the reason why I tolerate a lot things I wouldn't with other vehicles.
The only thing i would disagree with is the private party sale. Go with certified pre owned, meaning sold by subaru. They will only buy fully stock models and and will have 152 point inspection including a 100k mile powertrain warranty. Private parties only sell these cars when they know they have juiced it to its limits.
Not bad advice, but not sure I would agree 100% I would sell mine private party since its the perfect car for the right bueyr. It is no exaggeration one of the cleanest STIs in the country, full service records every 2500 miles, bone stock, all OEM equipment, PPF/ tint. Dealer isn't going to give me what I can sell for on private sale.
They are Ok as daily drivers. Gas mileage will be around 17-22 in most cases. I have driven WRX/STI's collectively over 150k miles and they are rock solid .
Yeah, for those financially uneducated who only focus on payment. The prices on STIs have dropped like a rock since I made this video. Still have mine and loving it
Beautiful truck. How quiet does it drive in normal or quiet mode on long highway drives? Can it be as quiet as say a Platinum? The Baja mode sounds great, but as an every dayer I'd rather have it be quiet.
Thanks! Normal is pretty quiet unless you get on it a bit. If you put it in quiet mode on long drives the truck has almost zero exhaust sound when cruising. So yes, I'd say it can be as quiet as a Platinum. I drove mine 2500 miles across country and it was effortless. Truly an amazing vehicle. I daily drive mine in the sport mode exhaust setting or normal most of the time.
Great input. Thanks. Given how many internals it seems you can adjust I suspect there is a combination of settings to maximize fuel economy (average mpg) on long highway drives. Hopefully that would include the quiet mode. I love this vehicle. Whichever I end up getting, a slightly modified Platinum, a Tremor or a Raptor, I plan to put a smooth, black Diamondback HD bedcover on it. If you haven't seen one, you should check it out. Thanks again.@@steveswiat
Nice, I am looking for a bedcover on mine right now. MPG really depends on external factors like wind, elevation, speed limit. I've seen as high as like 17 mpg or as low as 13-14 on highway trips. Cross country I averaged 16 mpg. I would 100% recommend this truck it is absolutely amazing in every regard. Even if you never took it off road once it is still one of the best vehicles on the road IMO.
Hi, I Hope you are well. You are making a great video but you are not getting that viewer according to your video. I checked your videos and saw that your videos do not have enough tag setup and your titles are not completely SEO. The main reason the video goes viral is video SEO. High ranking keyword, and organic promotion of your video's targeted audience. Your SEO score is Low and the video has no high-ranking keywords. All you have to do is get views and subscribers 1. Video SEO 2. Video Promotions (Top social media share) 3. High-ranking tag setup (keyword & Hashtag) If you want I can help you (SEO + All social media share). Then the views and subscribers of the channel will increase day by day.
It would definitely be pushing it however you can do it. Wouldn't recommend it though as the handling and braking is not suited for 90mph speeds on anything but a wide open highway.
I'd expect a few grand a year in maintenance for any STI if you do the wokr yourself, potentially a lot more if you break anything. Also adding an intake without a tune is a sure way to blow your engine so I would make sure to research the car properly
Just got my 2020 STi subaru certified for 40k plus ttl. Best part is my interest rate at wholesale from subaru/ chase. Im outside Chicago so 40k is very normal. Love my dream car at 43years old. 19 year wait is over.
@steveswiat 22k. Low for 3 yrs old. I'd try selling online quote from carmax. Then they inspect it when u go in and get paid. They're paying the most right now I believe. Private party is tough, u will get less and financing third party is a headache, plus private buying rates are high rn. Unless u get lucky n find someone that'll pay cash. But car better b perfect lol
Hi Steve. I took your past recommendation for me, and started a new traveling job. I really like the job. Talking to people and helping them. But the social environment is like locker room talk on steroids. My boss and coworkers are very immature and use crude language all the time. As I said, I really like the job, but I dread being around them (which I am a lot) One option would be to ask for another team. Another to go back to my old job and search for a new one. Or to deal with it for now and sleep on it. I'm a Christian, and I don't want to sin, & I think they will incline me to. Proverbs 13:20 "He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed." Any advice or words on this? Thanks!
Solid advice, bro 💯 Would love to hear you go in depth into how to start up a conversation with these high value people, and how to tell them that you got the skills to help them with their business and such
Absolutely agreed. Especially learning sales, like I do not understand how people neglect that, you spend your entire life selling. Selling an idea of yours to your parents, selling yourself as a great choice to a woman that you like, selling yourself as a worthy candidate in an interview, to the art of selling itself. It's importance cannot be stressed enough.
words of wisdom. as i said in another comment. this weekend i struggled with dealing with stress by turning to the wrong things. been a good weekend and happy as I have been seeking pleasure but its running out, im far from god and out of control. thanks steve
Steve! yes you showed up again. thank you. had a busy weekend of work (I'm a musician). to deal with the hustle and bustle of the city usually I go through self care, workout, stretch, meditate and pray. sadly instead i have turned to the wrong things and my sleep is messed up. thanks for the advice again and god bless
Can my experience of existence comment upon this please, without anything terrible happening to my experience of existence or being please Sovereign Lord of Heaven and Earth please????? 🙏🏻
Being a father of 1-year old twins it’s EXTREMELY hard to be consistent. Unfortunately I haven’t seen anyone explore this topic in enough detail. Even though my thought on this is that only with time (3-5 years later) I’ll be able to become consistent again.
That's actually him counting full 24 hours though. You only have 2/3 of that. Also for someone who's already in their 30s. They would only have about under 230,000 hours left.
See, I grew up in a house where hard work was essential. I learned how to play video games and stuff like that but still stick to hard things and stay motivated, especially the other side effects of not having all of that
I have drank black coffee every day for the past 14 years. I have also gone cold turkey for 60 days. TBH I didn't notice much of a difference either way because I have naturally high energy levels.
Most people today just don't care about their responsibilities period. That's why by having yours in check, you will be so much further ahead of the competition
I believe life is all about making constant improvement towards a goal you have set. Once I chose the path I wanted to go down and stuck with it, I'm just always happy. Purpose with the proper discipline = happiness
