Why go through all that effort of really good overdubbing, and featuring one of the best modern war films, and then call it a propaganda piece? Does that NOT implicate you in working as a propagandist arm of Russia? But the reality is dirty and mean (see "The Deserter's Confession" video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Mp0IyglWFUY.html that's to be published in the channel within the next 1 - 2 days). The translation has been done for studying the image of the enemy, for educational purposes.
@@AntidictatorWiki You could say the exact same thing about any western war movie as well. Top Gun glorifies childish behavior of pilots and makes people think they can take on a modern fighter with a 50 year old F14. Not to mention the falsely implied heroism of western soldiers when in fact they are bombing civillians in 3rd world countries. See how propaganda label works when applied in reverse? So either you are a hypocrite, or you are not as bright as you think.
@novemberzed9163, If I were working on western war movies and didn't say they were propaganda, but call propaganda "The Best in Hell", then I would likely be hypocrite. But I didn't work on western war movies, and I didn't state anything about those. Also much depends on a specific movie. And much depends on whether the movie is made by the state (or its affiliates) or by the private business. And if by the private business, then whether with or without the participation of the state.

And such things in Russia army are not much different from how the USSR state power and military command treated the soldiers during World War II, the war of USSR in Afghanistan (and between the wars). Such relations during war are a century-old "tradition" for Russia. It has been like that for ages.

Funny how it's supposed to familiarize us with Russian military lingo but it's dubbed 🤣🤣 Filmed by the enemy - filmed by someone with more skill and vision than all of hollywood war movies put together. If Hollywood could make something even 50% as good as this they would be quadrillionaires. Thankful that through this I was reintroduced to Russian cinema. I have not been disappointed so far.

To be honest, Russia and the US has been using proxy nations around the world to do the fighting longer than the majority of us have been alive. It's safer than tossing nukes at each other. If Russia were to attack the US conventionally, Russia would lose. At the same time, if the US were to attack Russia conventionally, the US would lose. The problem is the distance between them, which would be a logistical nightmare for both sides.
The colors are the parts of the flag. Russia flag is white-blue-red. Russia army uses white and/or red. Ukrainian flag is yellow-blue. Ukrainian troops use yellow and/or blue. The only exception to the rule is green. The Ukrainian border troops use green. TOTAL: Ukrainians use yellow, blue, green. Russians use white, red. In the movie only the white and yellow is used.
This dub made me switch back to original dub... Also, if this movie was targeting audience, it would be full on propaganda, excessive herouc moments and msssages that made you want to sign up. Why would you attempt to join Russian Army or Wagner Group after you clearly saw all but 2 died in the battle was was deemed so little and similar battles followed that won't amount much? Well, it could serve as recruiting for Russian Air Forces, you fly in, blow stuff up, go back to comfy bed. If anything, this movie lessens the amount of potential recruits like Fury movie did when not many wanted to be tankes after seeing it. Still, good try on dub, hope it improves in future in other movies.
Can you elaborate on the dubbing problems? I know some of the problems and I know the reasons that caused them. but maybe you can point me at some more problems?
It`s actually good to watch to see the lies and crap they have come up with in this film. They have left out the prisoner meat waves, who were sent in to find out where the hero Ukranians were. Wagner never operated in this way either. They storm with numbers and hope to get the upper hand. Movie is just garbage and may as well be part of the moscow circus
@@DainPalmer-v5vThat's how you use prisoners in war. As a distraction, as meat. The movie is about how you use your main infantry power and special units. Ukraine does the same but with newly mobilized personnel (especially from russian speaking regions) instead of prisoners
