@JoaoSiebinho you also need to consider the multifidius muscles in the neck as these can house active trigger points. If they are weak they will cause pain. These muscles generally get over looked in spinal disorders. Distal points such as SJ-3, UB-60 and SI-6 are beneficial for stiff neck. Ah Shi along the neck.
@JoaoSiebinho
@JoaoSiebinho 9 дней назад
@@sbacupuncturecpdtraining I don't really dare to do something with the neck muscles yet. The muscles are holding my neck in a way I don't want to change that yet, as my upper ligaments are really weak. I just want to focus purely on strengthening the ligaments first. So your first advice is great for that? Or does that change the story.

Hi Steve, have you ever seen healing of neck ligaments in patients after treating them with gb34?
@sbacupuncturecpdtraining
@sbacupuncturecpdtraining 9 дней назад
Hi @JoaoSiebinho, I mainly use GB-34 for shoulders. For neck ligaments I would combine GB-34 with GB-21, SI-3, DU-14, DU-15, UB-10 and ST-36.

@@sbacupuncturecpdtraining thanks! Even for upper cervical ligaments, or are all neck ligaments addressed with those points? I hope it especially can bring my upper neck more stability with stronger ligaments. I'm almost fully bedridden at the moment and I want to do everything to prevent surgery.

What is Du Mai 13, 14, 15??
@sbacupuncturecpdtraining
@sbacupuncturecpdtraining 28 дней назад
The du Mai channel also known as the Governor vessel passes down the spine. Du mai 14 is located below the spinous process of the 7th cervical spine and Du Mai 15 is located below the spinous process of the 2nd cervical spine.

Do you recommend the AWQ-104L or AWQ-104LT? And why? Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge.😊
@sbacupuncturecpdtraining
@sbacupuncturecpdtraining 28 дней назад
The difference between the AWQ-104L and AWQ-104LT is one has a digital read out and the other doesn't. I have both. I do tend to use the one with the digital read out more frequent.

I thought these machines were biphasic so there is a positive and negative polarity on each lead meaning that it doesn't matter where the red and black are.

Very interesting. I have a chronic achilles tendon pain, swelling. I've just had a physiotherapist in the UK apply acupuncture needles into my tendon, and would encourage any patients to try this. Achilles tendon problems aren't fixed in 5 minutes, more like 8-12 weeks of regular treatment and exercise, but the needling is definitely helping. It is not painful.

Hi @nikolatesla4608 thank you for your comment. I am not sure whether you will be able to get pads for that device and use it like a TENS machine. It is not something I have looked into before. I am sure there will be some pads available. I will ask the suppliers that I generally use and see if they know. If I get a positive response I will get back to you. Regards Steve

@sbacupuncturecpdtraining
@sbacupuncturecpdtraining 8 месяцев назад
@phototherapypatches I wouldn't think that raw food would cause cold in people. A lot of the enzyme in raw vegetables are fully active and water soluble vitamins such as vitamin C, B won't be affected by heat when cooking.
