Guilds in this game Once you've blocked the polititard, the racist, the sexist, the control freak, the lazy lad who needs to be summoned everywhere, the one constantly asking questions and looking for advice who never acts on the answers but always finds excuses not to do anything, the other one who keeps asking questions and refuses to use WoWhead, or did once but couldn't find the comments section and the beggar, there's nobody left to play with.
guild drama as a child always entertained me and now im in my early 20's playing era and its still just as entertaining grown adults like 30+ with kids and wives crying in g chat is hilarious
Anyone that's using GDKP kinda gets what they're signing up for.. A scam waiting to happen. I wound up with an Ashes in WotLK, 3 man group with friends.. I won the roll, and offered to run it with them every week til we all got one, and I did... Every week, for them to get one too. Eventually Kael became soloable, but they also don't play anymore. My one friend, however.. got me on a Rivendare warhorse.. I was soloing runs, and I invited him for a run, and damn horse dropped, and he won. Haven't seen it since. 😂
I was in this guild, i was in this raid. This video only covers the tip of the iceberg, theres a lot of detail missing here, such as the pug warrior being arms in alliance raids, and wanted to claim the sword should automatically go to him when it dropped because it was MS>OS and he was the only warrior in the raid "maining" 2 handed weapons. Ask me anything if your curious.
Been playing moonkin all of SoD. Just started to get some offspec feral pieces, so I thought I should try it out. Thanks to this video, I was able to learn a lot, making feral really fun. Might even switch to feral main in phase 5.
My SOD guild used MS/OS +1 for our raids, which kept down the drama. And watching these loot drama videos YT has rec'd me recently made me glad we used such a system.
I played SOD during Phase 1 as Rogue and got to max level and started raiding BFD. I missed the first two wipes when the raid opened, but I got put into a raid group that had already cleared the raid in the week prior. I'm a previous mythic raider in retail and the mechanics and raid were pretty easy, I had watched videos but was seeing the mechanics for the first time so first kill was to learn for me. But the raid was already on farm status and everyone just came to parse on the fights and get loot. I was one of two "Kicks" (spell interrupts) for the Kelris fight. My raid leader was a priest who could cleanse the Shadowy Chains debuff but wipe after wipe if there was a missed kick for whatever reason he would get really upset during the fight and flip out at me and would pull me into a private channel in discord after the fight to discuss it. He would demand Mind Blasts get kicked but also would rage if shadowy chains was missed. If the boss got moved and I would get sent into Kelris' phase 1 dream realm sleep phase thing, I wouldn't be able to kick chains, but our other interrupt would, but sometimes they would miss it since its a fast cast. Sometimes I was just coming out of the dream phase and had to sprint over and would barely miss it. Either way, raid and fights were easy and we had it farmed. I had to pull up warcraft logs and show him everyone else's mistakes or other issues that caused missed kicks - but it really wasnt a big deal at all, it was an easy fight/raid. He was simply mad that he had to cleanse instead of heal for MUH PARSE. I played a little of phase 2 but didn't even attempt to raid with them, and got burned out when I realized my choice was raid with people like that or do the insanely poorly designed, laggy pvp event in STV. I quit.
In retail a yearish ago, got into the season fairly late and joined my guild's alt raid night to get my feet wet. GM was on the phone for the first half of the entire raid and set their character to follow their spouse so they could still count for loot. That was already kind of stupid but after a boss clear, I got up to use the restroom during a trash pull and the raid leader lectured me for like 5 minutes about how we're all here to take this seriously and how it's disrespectful for me to just decide I get to get up and leave whenever i want when we have bathroom breaks planned (which wasn't true). The GM didnt hear this because they were on the phone and not actually playing. I finished the raid and left the guild immediately after. First and last time raiding with them.
What's it like to be in a committed relationship with your cousin? Did growing up together make it awkward or did it all just work itself out the first time you ran your tongue deep into his asshole?
This video should be titled "How pinnical rused an entire server to incite drama over pixels by playing victim to basic raid mechanics" and how some mouth breathing nerds illegally doxxed regular players to try and extort them for a few dollars worth of gold.
3 years and this is still the only content you have? Really liked the lies and exaggerations used as an attempt to be Hollywood. The only part correct here is the DOXXING. That is real and the creeps and losers in benediction discord will do illegal things to get what they want. The last video was taken down because the owner deleted his account after realizing how stupid he was for posting this BS. Trash take from another clueless nerd who was not even in the raid. Stop trying to get clout from a 3 year old event. Trade chat GDKP in TBC in which the lead res'd ashes unless someone wanted to bid more than 50k thus making it worth it to form the raid on the offchance this item dropped(Raid lead bank checked all players none had more than 15k gold on hand). This is how raid leader was able to verify it was a bluff scam in order to get bids activated and strong arm him to pay for his own raid. Horrible take on what actually happened all players joining that raid understood exactly what the LFG post meant. We all spent nearly 2 hours inside SSC before entering TK where 1 player "Conveintly disconnected at KT". Again just another clout chaser after bustter and Nuajknar nutz. The only people muted in that discord call was the 10 bene disc mega nerds who joined to start drama once they realized they werent getting an extra 2k gold per character (Sometimes they account share and multibox the same raid for bigger cuts). TLDR: The above video is mostly fiction with the exception of Doxxing which is a serious crime and the individual in the video who is exposed should be reported to the police and proper authorities.
BTW Chow aka Chowmein was one of the big king pins in this operation he was guild lead and his fall back plan was to kick bustter from guild if things went south. He cordinated this whole thing in discord hours before the raid even formed
@@RatTelevision Ah yes, the grand master plan to be muted while his guild name was dragged through the mud so a f&f guild member could ninja Ashes. 👍 I like how you tossed this on at the end as if anyone would be convinced after your three paragraph long tantrum.
@@Zoux-ol3lfyep obviously he received a huge kick back for it we both got 20k each. There were only 3 people that day who formed the raid. Me, CHOW, and bustter.
@@Driftbyethis raid isn't even the tip of the ice burg. Honestly sad to see you cling to a 3 year old event. Try covering the story of kurtymcgurty or Juansrogue rise to fame via 5s carries
Oh lord I remember when this went down. It was all over trade and local chats about the scam. It was even used as an example for other such runs that were going on.
Oh no.... people don't really care about gdkp stuff :p the ending was so predictable. the 90+ % that don't participate in gdkp all had a collective chuckle at the scam.
Ah yes, gdkp, a system where you give your info to your guild leader and have to trust that the guild leader doesn’t modify the table or reset it before a new tier
During classic I raided mc in a guild from release to naxx. Took till 3 weeks before tbc before I got my wild growth, I saw it go to so many paladins who quit the game. If I ever see molten core again it'll be too soon
Fun to see some old wow classic drama come up, I've seen some myself, but never bothered to make a video about it, just had a few in-guild memes about it. In my experience drama always lead to guild destruction.
