Hi Sayli, Great to hear about your GMAT score. to apply for 1-year regular MBA, you need to have some experience. 2 years for ISB and Great Lakes; 3 years for SPJIMR, IIM Kozhikode and IIM Udaipur; 4 years for IIM Ahmedabad; and 5 years for other B-schools. Since the GMAT score is valid for 5 years, you can use the same score once you attain the mentioned work experience, else if you are not satisfied with your current GMAT score, you can try another attempt for a better score because you can't apply in any B-school anyway. Another option is to apply right away to ISB's YLP program and reserve your seat for 2 years later. By doing this, you can get admission into their PGP program as soon as you complete 2 years of work experience. Hi Ashish, I think you are asking about 1-year regular MBA program. Please note that this is not an Executive program or Executive MBA but a regular MBA. IIM Indore is considering CAT score of 2 consecutive years for a 1-year regular MBA, i.e. for this year's application cycle, IIM Indore will consider CAT scores of 2023 and 2024. First of all thank you for these wonderful videos which you are sharing with us I want to know two things, 1. do colleges see 10th marks too for executive MBA? 2. do they require only mid level managers or anyone from sales job as business development executive can also get enrollment in these courses if he or she has 5+ yr experience?
Hi Neerendra, Thanks for the appreciation. Let me try to answer both the questions: 1) I think you are talking about the 1-year full-time MBA which is NOT an executive MBA. A few B-schools see an aggregate 50% in 10th, 12th and undergrad, however, other B-schools see an aggregate of 50% only in undergrad. So, you need to look for all those B-schools which suit you well. Hi Pratik, Sorry for my delayed response. All the IIMs except IIM Udaipur offer MBA in General Management, which means that they teach you everything - Strategy, Operations, Finance, Marketing, Organizational Behaviour, Technology etc. And then they offer many elective subjects which you can opt for based on your interest. So basically, they prepare you for everything and also companies approach the campuses for all the role including operations. You join any IIM and there you will get opportunities in operations, but I suggest you target the old IIMs first, if you get one nothing like it. I hope this helps. Keep watching.

Hi Dave, Sorry for my late response. I somehow missed it and only saw it today. 1-year full-time MBA is a General MBA which means you get a chance to learn everything. Also, based on your interest these programs offer you electives which you can choose. So, after this MBA program you get a chance to work in many organizations including JP Morgan. Hi Saikumar, You may need to focus on GMAT and target a good score. This will pave way for old IIMs (A,B,C,I,L,K). SP Jain can be your option if you don’t get into these IIMs. You must also apply for ISB, intact it can be one of your top preferences. I hope this helps. Keep watching.

Hi Nishant, Sorry for my much delayed response. You should try GMAT and aim for a good score. Though the academics could be more impressive but for most of the B-schools you are still eligible. Please note that a few B-schools accept GMAT score of last 3 years, so I would suggest you check the website of your target B-school for clarity. Hi Arjit, I appreciate your video with respect to Indian context. I am currently preparing for GMAT Focus Edition. As you have mentioned in the video that Safe score is >=700. So with respect to Focus edition it should be 645, right to get the interview call?
Hi Parth, Sorry for my late response. As you know, the GMAT focus started from 07th Nov 2023 onwards, so most of the B-schools admitted students based on the older GMAT score. So, the accepted average GMAT scores published by the B-schools don't give a fair idea, we need to wait for another year to find that out. But, meanwhile, I suggest to secure the maximum you can.
