Hey, your channel is very insightful in terms of GMAT information. There are other youtube channels who only focus on CAT exam for IIMs (the full time 2 year MBA) and they tell us which youtube channels to use to prepare for CAT without coaching. If you could do the same for GMAT it would be great! Please tell us which youtube channels we should refer for online coaching for GMAT.

Hi, I understand your concern and trust me you are not alone who wants to start from the very basics. Most of the candidates who get admission to a 1-year full-time MBA are not in touch with Math or English apart from whatever is used in their day-to-day work. I suggest you start with gmatprepnow.com because it is the most basic way to learn about any topic. Their 6-month subscription fee is very economical and even before starting the subscription, you can watch a few free videos available on each topic. As soon as you are comfortable, take the subscription and start preparing. It has links to gmatclub.com questions on each topic so you need not go anywhere else. Hi, As I mentioned in the video, there are multiple sources from which you can study the theory part of these topics. You can pay subscription fees and buy the content on online platforms such as gmatprepnow.com or e-gmat.com etc..Or you can read the theory from the Official GMAT guide, manhattan etc.. Gmatprepnow is the platform from where I started, so I can say that the theory is pretty good there, but you can also try other sources. Hope this helps.

Hi Naman, There is none in my knowledge. Though, every B-school has a different range of accepted work experience which mostly is between 2 and 5 years.

Hi Priyatoshdhara, You may not get as many opportunities as your batchmate with 5-year of work experience may get, but show your experience and transferable skills in your resume, and you will get suitable and decent opportunities. There are people with even higher experience who get decent placements. Remember one thing, you may not get everything- desired salary, desired role, desired company, but if you can get a few out of these from the campus, it will pave a way for you after the campus. Hi Harsh, GMAT score is valid for 5 years, so you can take your GMAT exam anytime but the earliest you can get an admission is once you have a work experience of 2-5 years because most of the B-schools ask for some work experience in this range for admission in 1-year MBA program. Hi Parameshwar, In case you are subscribing to Gmatprepnow, that will be sufficient to read all the theory and practice questions. You can skip buying the official guide in that case. Just make sure to give as many mock tests as possible, you can start with the free official tests or with the free tests of Manhattan and Veritas. You will find the links on gmatprepnow.com

Hi Avneet, Sorry for the delay in response. GMAT score is valid for 5 years so you can take the examination and use the score anytime within 5 years. Please note that a few B-schools accept GMAT score of last 3 years, so I would suggest you check the website of your target B-school for clarity. But, in any case, you can use the GMAT for at least 3 years for sure. I hope this helps. Keep watching.

Hi, Once you receive your GMAT score, the score remains valid for the next 5 years. So even if they change anything in the GMAT syllabus, that won't affect your score at hand because you can apply to the B-schools for the next 5 years with the same score. Having said that, a few B-schools consider GMAT score until the last 3 years, so you need to check that before applying to any B-school. Hope it helps.

If I'm planning to start preparation from the month of January 2024 till the time GMAT exam gonna be held in 2024 Am I having enough time to prepare for cracking gmat while availing scholarships too... Hi, Every candidate has his/her own pace to prepare for the exam, so it's hard to tell how long it will take to score 700+ marks in the GMAT. A candidate may take 2 months or more than 1 year, so it's a very subjective question. I can only suggest you start at the earliest in a disciplined manner. All the best. I hope this helps. Hi, Salary is not decided by any company as per the combination of your degrees. Rather, it’s decided on the basis of your past experience, or what value your degree/skill set gives to the company to fulfill their needs. Hi Aditi, GMAT can be given at any time of the year. You can go to mba.com and book your exam appointment as per your preparation. Moreover, the GMAT score remains valid for 5 years, which means if you take your exam today then too you can choose to be admitted to the B-schools within the next 5 years. Hi, GMAT score doesn't depend on the admission deadline. To get admission to any top B-school you should try getting a good GMAT (~700 or above). In India most of the applications open around July or afterwards, so you should target having a decent score before that ideally. I hope this helps.

Hi Deepak, Yes, GMAT is mandatory for experienced professionals if they want to pursue a 1-year full-time MBA. However, for an Executive MBA/ online MBA there are other exams as well. Hi, I think I haven't retained my notes, but I prepared most of my notes from GmatPrepNow.com which has great content. So, you can also use the same with a paid subscription that doesn't cost you much. It's below 10k INR for 6 months, I guess. I hope this helps. Keep watching.

Hi Namrata, Sorry for the delayed response. GMAT algorithm works uniquely. For a few questions you solve correctly, it increases your score, similarly, for a few questions you solve incorrectly, it decreases your score. Also, if you leave some questions unattempted at the end, the algorithm penalizes you by decreasing your score. All this happens dynamically. So, you can say that it's not a conventional exam in which you see clearly how negative marking works, but it is an exam that decreases your score dynamically based on your performance. A few top B-schools only consider students with a 4-year undergraduate degree, so I suggest you check the eligibility criteria on B-school's website to get more clarity.
