Not satisfactory: Android knows things like the „apk extractor“. What we needing a way to transfer apps directly- without iClouds or other intermediate storage involved. Clouds are out of the question for private data as 3rd party software. A desktop/laptop that“s neither Windows nor MAC won’t help here either. So direct transfer is needed. How do we extract apps from a device?

Download whatsapp after entering the new sim in new phone... that worked for me otherwise it didn't show my backup option in new phone. I uninstalled whatsapp in the new phone and then again installed it to get the backup option
Guys, It's not stuck actually. The progress bar is not loading evenly. Though it seems stuck eventually it will transfer. (I cancelled many times but luckily I fell asleep after starting moving and when I woke up the transfer was completed). Anyway I moved everything except Gallery/Images/Media. I think it will take time if you are moving Media. (But I had 6GB Whatsapp data and Media) Mine it was so slow or stuck when the progress bar was in 15%. Then I fell asleep. lucky!
@@Dado.02 Unfortunately no! It took only 20-25 mins to reach 15% remaining level. Then it was ultra-slow, and I fell asleep. It might have taken about 1-2 hours. But not very sure. ( I slept 4 hours haha)

Hi, I was using a WhatsApp business account with a different number. Unfortunately I don't have access to that number anymore. Now when I am trying to switch my whatsapp to WA business, my chat are not visible there. I have backed up my chats multiple times on WA and while switching chats are not visible there. Nor the WA business is showing option to restore chats
i downvoted. you claim that whatsapp was the winner but you have to put trust in facebook for that to be true. its not open source so you cant trust what they say is true. Signal is the better opetion
