One of my favorite sign offs ever is "I remain (insert name here)". Anyway, I like that BASTL is getting a lot of mileage out of this form of module (very noise of them) but agree that some of what they are sacrificing in using the same PIZZA format is regrettable.
Sounds like they need to release a "Supreme" version of their Pizza modules with more inputs, outputs, and a slightly larger footprint. Thanks for the video Jeremy!
This is like the module you want to have going at FULL BLAST when you're about to get into a fight. it's just so mean, and noisey, and thick, and smashes everything without limits.
Hi Jeremy from RMRM. Hows life in the big PNW, bracing for 100+ this week? I am (as a fellow PNW'r...) cheers, oh btw, threadless, looking to get a pullover.. Tell me the XL isn't going to be a dress (as in long...) I missed the sale, but all is well, pz!
Legendary Ohmforce. OhmFromage was my go to filter for weird vocals back in the day. UI was also insane for all of their plugs. Ohmcide was on my drum bus by default:))
Even though your big modular rack is cool, I love this desk the best out of what we've seen. I find it really important to be able to look at the clouds, the birds, the stars and the moon, when I'm making patches or working out a progression. So it's always nice to see other people's window setups.
Oh goodness! I've been using the software version of ohmacide for years! Well, if I ever dive into physical modular, this is going to be a must. It was awesome to hear your performance on it. That acid was delicious BTW! Keep up the good work. Did it have a way to decide up 4 distortions over the audio spectrum like they do in the software? (like make the low end have one distortion, mids another, and another highs?)
I love this. I'm always trying to be more musical but fail. lol. Was curious about your midi interface? I can't read it. *edit oh I started looking on google for midi cv and it might be the Noise eng Univer inter? And if so do you have two of them? I'm reading you can daisy chain them, is this so you can utilize all 16 outs of the Digi 2?
I finally got round to this on my long, and seemingly ever growing, music to listen playlist! The Virt Iter Legio bit in the Hermod demo made me go look what that voice was, it's got such a distinctive timbre. So, much to my happy surprise, their product page mentions they use the algorithms in a free VST as well! (I imagine I'll mostly play around with the additive part of the plugin, since I've got great supersaw and stereo-phase modulation sounds in hardware already. But it'll be fun to compare Noise Engineering's version against it too!) A ton of these demos are massive bangers, some very tactile and kinetic, but all the places the Hermod demo takes us... after I finished, I keep re-listening to that part. I especially like the EWI at the end of that segment.
