I feel like "Big Name" and "Eurorack" don't go together. I mean, there's not a lot of product categories where your support request gets an email from the person who owns the manufacturer, or where you can just phone a shop with a question, and they put you on the phone with the person who designed the product. Seems like a tiny niche to me.

Funny enough I just installed the DeArrow plugin, which replaces titles and thumbnails with non-clickbait version. Much better for my sanity. On another note I think people really underestimate how niche Eurorack (and modular in general) is. It's vast and expensive so it feels like a bigger market than it really is. There really isn't that many of us.

The part you don’t realize is, channels who make this their entire identity have a dedicated workflow with a few preset templates ready to go. It is incredibly fast and easy and requires only a little effort on their part. Sometimes in the first day that a video is up they’ll cycle through all of their potential thumbnails to see which one does best for that video

I love and hate this at the same time.

The one at 13:00 accidentally reminds me of a Ben Jordan Thumbnail before the color grade haha (Don't get me wrong I adore his videos just thought this was funny xD). Honestly the annoying thing about clickbaity Videos is not the design most of the time, the titles or texts on the thumbnail are often more infuriating. But having read that reddit thread, I find this video so perfect. It's a humurous take with some good closing thoughts on the topic. Much love!

I bet the demo guy (not Tony) from MakeNoise could generate 10 hours of art school lecture BS about the Maths. Now I am going to see these graphical effects everywhere.

My cat kisses me on the lips and doesn't give me a choice in the matter. I get home from work, I hug my family, my dog wags her tail and greets me, and I flop down on the couch.
