Hello Ms. Vicky.. we want to buy a house in Pahrump, NV using our VA home loan.. we got approved of $425,000 here in California.. my husband works here as a Detention Officer (Navy Veteran) and I’m currently in the Air Force Reserve.. is it possible for us to buy a house in Pahrump using our VA home loan while we are still working here in California?
Hmm... how many did the pope take in? How much was stolen from him to feed other nations people? They must go home & end the current leaders by fire. Americans had to fight bloody battles to end our leaders. They must the same. Most nations had to fight to get rid of leaders and they must go back and do the same. Only pitiful beggars would take what they never put a penny into and thats just cheezy.
Don't forget the daily commute that will grind you into the poof dirt fuel tires oil changes frequently plus the cost of replacing many cars that get high mileage fast
The fewer schools, the fewer young people, all the better. Does Pahrump have 24 gambling? Do I get a constant supply of beer? Is there a place to buy a pizza? Yes, so what else do you need? Las Vegas was paradise 40 years ago. Now it’s a giant ghetto. I’d rather be in Pahrump.
The price of a home in Pahrump is not worth what Pahrump has to offer, and heaven forbid you don't know the areas. There's tons of meth and burglaries here.
No kids and love the outdoors, and dry heat weather, plan on moving there in a year and the only thing you went over that is even remotely a negative for me is no Movie Theater (which is mind blowing to me and curious at any movie theater investment op)
You might also want to mention how hard the 2008 housing crash hit Pahrump. I doubt prices 16 years later are much higher than they were then. I remember seeing basic houses for $400K that are probably about the same now.
I own a townhome in Las Vegas and have been to Pahrump several times. It is hot, dusty, and there are very few things to do. Definitely not for everyone.
It seems that people love or hate this city 😂 I see the negative comments and I believe them but I also believe that this city is expanding and has potential I think that in a few years it will be a city that people will regret not having had faith in this city because I have the intuition that it will be fashionable to live there
We moved here in 2020 during the pandemic, and we bought an acre of land that we're currently building a house on. The value of our property has already gone up by 40%. We have a beautiful view of the mountains and the lake bed and because there's no light pollution, We can see every star in the sky. It's so quiet and peaceful and so many kind people. It very much has that small town feeling in many ways. I've always been a city girl, but after living here for 3.5 years, I can't imagine living in a big city in a cramped up apartment again. I'm spoiled with all the space we have. Like any city, it certainly has it's pros and cons, but for us at the stage of life that we're in, the pros definitely outweigh the cons.
Hi Vickie I am appointed as a medical technologist in Parhump, desert view family hospital, currently I am living in Dubai , can anyone please tell me about the community, and how to rent the house for the family , what could be the challenges for a family who is moving from Dubai to Parhump? Any help would be highly appreciated
You know honestly living in Pahrump is very nice it doesn't affect my titanium in my head as much as much more humid climate as well as my osteoarthritis in my hips
it's getting worse on Dandelion, Calvada, and Ambush. gang activity has gotten worse, and from my point of view, apartment managers have little knowledge what kind of SKUM they have living on their property. The local Sheriff's Department will catch up to them soon since they do know who the shot-caller is.
