We magnet fish, metal detect and just recently we have started mudlarking.
Treasure hunting is always exciting, you never know what you will find next!
From sunken treasures to unearthing ancient artifacts and curiosities lost in time, we will show you what we find.
We particularly like to magnet fish because it is great for the environment. Scrap metals and plastics that are thrown in the water pollute it. This is harming the fish and wildlife. The more of it we can get out the better it is for them and the environment. This is something we care passionately about.
We hope you enjoy watching our videos as much as we enjoy making them.

Funny, I went to comment because I was so impressed with the young lad. Started reading the comments and it seems we are ALL impressed with this young lad! Now I want to see him now!
When I am in the mood to watch magnet fishing its you chaps I tune in. I have even modeled my personal magnet in a horizontal profile like you used in earlier (years ago) videos. Dad G has a good knowledge of most of your finds. One small criticism is I have seen on several occasions a lack of respect for objects spiritual, sentimental or memorial. Its the archeologist in me talking. Anyways, cheers from sunny California.
I just found your You Tube channel and I love that you and your son do this together! What great memories you are creating! That horse from a car is a fabulous find! I have subscribed to your channel and so looking forward to more of your finds. I live in Columbia, SC and it is illegal to magnet fish in SC! So disappointing as I would love to find treasures. Take care and fish on!
They kind of glossed over the metal he pulled from the water, but he will take that and all other metal items to a scrapyard and will get paid for it. Good for him!
Strange the English notes seem to have suffered some what having been in the river for 22 years. The Australian ones seem fairly modern and not falling to bits.
Hi…I have just started watching your videos and enjoy them immensely.. Cheers Sonia from Western Australia..ps, i loved the one where you found all of the Aussie $50 and $100 notes lol
I went magnet fishing and caught a nuclear submarine. What do I do with the crew and all these thermo-nook-lee-ur weapons? Celebrate Stinky de Mayonnaise?
As if this is new. My dad and I went magnet fishing back in the 1960's. Usually just pulled out fishing paraphernalia. Damn clever, though, using two magnets for pulling out heavier objects.
That cannonball may be part of what they referred to as "chain shot" that was fired with the intent of cutting up the rigging or slicing the masts on ships. The item @ 17:16 looks like the outside of a constant velocity joint from the drive axel of an automobile. Either early VW or later front wheel drive. Would have to be cleaned to see for sure.
I once found a Bank of America vintage leather bank bag at the Glendale, CA post office. It was accidently left beside a scale at Christmastime back in the early 1990's. I took it in to the lobby where two long lines had formed, hoping if I stood there with it someone would see me and come up to claim it. After 5 minutes, and nobody had, a window opened and a woman started doing something behind the counter. I didn't want to wait in one of the long lines, so I took the bank bag over to her instead. I explained how I had found it. Her reply was "What's in it?!" She seemed upset with me, like I was just playing games with her. I replied, "It's a bank bag, it probably has money in it." I had felt two thick stacks that were 'money-sized' and about a dozen rolls of coins when I had first found it. The woman unzipped the bag, looked in and her eyes flew wide open. She quickly zipped it shut and stuffed it down below her someplace. Then she just stared at me. After a moment she said angrily, "Well, what do you want now?!" I told her "nothing" and left. When my boss came into work and asked if anything interesting had happened overnight, I told him what had happened the day before. He said I should return to the post office because they probably wanted to thank me for what I had done. So I went back and inquired about it, asked if they had located the owner yet. Their reply was "No money bag was turned in yesterday". Well, it turned out that woman had stolen the money, and told her supervisor she had to go see sick family in Hawaii. I got them to believe what I had told them though. Then all I heard was crickets. A "Thank you" would have been nice, but I can see why they wanted to cover their butts. To this day that "find" still makes me sick. I was a broke-as-a-joke alcoholic that was honest enough to turn in a money bag at Christmastime and I came away feeling like a fool does. I didn't even get to know if they fired that woman or not, or if anything came out of it besides her getting to steal all that money. I've also wondered about the person why misplaced it, and what happened to them at Christmastime, too. Did they get fired?
