And I should too? Who do you think you’re talking to five year olds? Still haven’t seen one of these and I live in the third largest city in the country. Lucid still exists because the Saudis want their money back before letting it die. Remember it’s former Tesla misfits running the company. It’s garbage at best.
July lease deals for the Air Pure start at $549 a month and you can even get it lower if you find one on site an additional $4000 bonus credit right now.
Love your channel my man. Couldnt agree more on the steering wheel missing paddles, i found myself nodding in pure agreement with every word. Also, laughed out loud at at the blown speaker test 😂. Keep up the good work, look forward to more content.
I have to be one of the few people that loves that steering wheel paddles. My 958.1 has them and while annoying at first, I’ve gotten totally accustomed to it by 5 years of ownership. Being able to up shift and downshift from either side of the wheel without moving my hand is so nice.
850$ a month for 72 months is still not cutting it , cuz you must think about the car value dropping down like nothing by each month xD I mean you must be very rich to consider 800$ a month for a lease to be a bargain even for 100k car its to much way to much for the lost value you have to deal later with ...normaly you lease for 250$ bucks at most for a luxury car that reaches the 100k mark ... audi a6 full spec going to be even cheaper XD
Wow, I have to say I’m glad I found this video but i definitely have been kicking around the idea about getting a Cayman 718 sometime down the road hopefully soon, but I always wondered what it would be like doing maintenance on these cars, it’s probably not that much more than my Corrado This is basically just like working on a mid engine Corrado🤣 I think I could pull this off for sure thanks for sharing and the inspiration🥳🎉
What about the Genesis G80? Granted, the 2021+ models are still not quite at $30k, but I would consider the G80 to be much more luxurious and bespoke than the Audi, especially with the G80 being rear-wheel drive.
Blown speakers are common with Porsches. My 718 and my 911 have had blown speakers but luckily a lot of them are the same speaker and typically cost like $85 bucks.
i had the 997.2 with that shitty steering wheel, so unintuitive and badly designed, you've done well to find one for $600!! love the colour of your cayman too and the carplay mod looks great. I see you have the sport chrono already, so i think you already have sports exhaust? if so drill out the second set of cats, you'll still pass emissions tests and it sounds so much better plus youll get a couple extra hp
being a tech nerd and a car guy, this is awesome! yet another reason to be a big fan!!! Keep up the good work! If you are ever in GA and want to drive my Alfa or 1000+ hp stang, feel free lol
Lucid doesn’t make cars for the average Joe. And you are just dishonest talking about just $800 a month. Do you really think your viewers just have $850 a month? 🤣🤣 You could literally review your new car
if you love music, and the customization of cars, doing up the stereo with quality aftermarket stuff is, well, well worth the investment, and pretty fun! Now that most head units are just a screen and run carplay etc, you dont have to deal with cheezy looking headunits, yeah.. big reccomend.
Why people dont buy them? simply they don`t know the car and even if they knew lucid everyone says that it is 250K car, lucid marketed the dream and sapphire trims but not the pure and touring models idk why they did that. it is a great car for 70 to 120k but not 250k they should focus more on "entry level" models
Hi Friend, Your vids are awesome! This is Alloyworks! We specialize in the production of automotive radiators, heat exchangers, and cooling system components. We're wondering if we could collaborate. Would you like to put our products to the test and review them on your channel?
Luke, thumb up. Another solid video, It has been a while since you posted the last. Do you do tool reviews? We released a portable air pump. Can we invite you to do a review? If so, How can we connect with you?
Beautiful Car! What is the name of the color? My son had on Boxster in Zanzibar Red- is that it? As a HUGE fan of your tech channel, glad I found your car channel!
Well, up until now I only knew you from your Mac stuff. I'm sorry, but this is sad. Two problems: 1. A PDK? Really?!? No manual? You've got no reason to complain about shifting. Of course, I'm a lot older than you, and bemoaned the loss of downtube shifters on my Trek 1200 when I had to move to a 1.2. 2. If my left leg was amputated (or something), and I had to use a PDK instead of a manual, I absolutely disagree about the operation of the upshifts/downshifts. I would never want it to be left/right; I want it to be pull/push, using either hand, just as it is. I would want it to be pull for downshifts and push for upshifts, but I know I could get used to it either way. Btw: I owned a 986 and yes, it had a manual. Just to rub salt in your content, I just bought a Mac Pro 2013 three months ago (my first Mac; I've used Linux exclusively for >25 years) and couldn't be happier with it, other than having to use the Command key instead of Control, which I _am_ getting used to. I upgraded it to 64GB and an 8-core E5-2667 for ~$65, and it runs Sonoma with OCLP. While I still use Linux for servers and VMs, It's a great addition to my iPhone 11, Apple Watch 5, Beats Pros, and TV 4K 2021, and is now my main desktop machine. No, I don't have an iPad, and won't until I can code and manage files on it, which will probably be never, the way things are going with iPad"OS".
So you went to all the trouble of replacing the steering wheel because you didn’t like the manual shifter buttons, then you replace the wheel and when you show us the test drive, you didn’t even use the new paddles? I feel a bit cheated. Did I miss something?
forgot to add sound deadening behind the speakers in the doors... makes the speakers sound like they are solid mouted and door will have a solid "THUNK" in doors (and panels) when you tap on them
