To check the fuel level on fuel gauge do i have to push some button to check the level because on my boat it says its full all the time. (On other boats i usually had a switch that i hold and it showed me the level)
I always hear from you guys about "guaranteed revenue". But how much of the profit are you taking for yourselves? Obviously that's fine, you're a business. I talked to somebody about it before and came away with more questions than answers. After 7 years will I own my boat 100%? Or will I need to pay additional to walk away from the program with my boat? That's all I want to know.

Nice video. We go in March but it is 2023! Can this video be updated please? I'm sure some things do not change but particularly the 'covid related' comments, openings/ closings need updating please.
@22:29 I've been on the same Navigare boat, a year a part, coincidentally during the Doodles/Navigare flotilla and they're telling the truth. Navigare does an excellent job with maintenance.
I'm pretty torn here. The need for a 55kW genset is a tough pill to swallow. Why even bother with solar at that point? It might be more efficient to drive the propellers with hydraulics if you have a 55kW genset on board...?
I'm with you on this my math dosent add up. It was stated (and on the chart) the IS525e needs only 50hp to go 8knots fully loaded (22,000kg), 50hp =37kwh but they have (2) 65kw motors? SO you would typically use 1/4 the power you have on hand to power the boat at 8knts? Seems like you could get away with smaller motors and generator. Also @hman0007 4.5kwh in full sun is not going to help so much when you are using 37kwh (charging your 200kw of battery is already like 3 days only on solar in perfect sunlight.
Shaft drives are doing lot better in regeneration mode as saildrives suffer from the high inner friction (2 angles) making global efficiency much lower.
526e looks very good. Love the walk through to the bow. Great you’ve kept the trampolines. Bowsprit for a code 0 would be a good option for sure. Bbq and sink on the flybridge? Flush hatches? 🤓
Interesting discussion. Very exciting development to see electric cats now becoming feasible for the mass market and charter fleets. The use of standard proven systems is very wise. Hoping it will mean more reasonable running costs!
I suppose it has its place but why not just build a proper deck saloon, then old people would like it too. Perfect if you are running a sailing school. I cant imagine how nasty the deck get with every meal being prepped on deck. Also a fair weather sailing boat only.
Hey TC, Internationally we have seen success with boats in AirBnb and other sharing sites. In the US we bump into regulations that put a damper on sharing boats with some renumeration. We look forward to helping answer any other questions you may have.
Attention! They don’t respect the contract! In November 2019 I rented a catamaran for three weeks for August 2020. At the end of March I sent the cancellation request (the contract provides a cancellation fee of 500 € if the cancellation is made 120 days before departure). Navigare Yachting does not want to pay back what I have already paid for the charter fee, amounting to about 50 % of the total. Be very careful because, so far, they do not intend to comply with the contract. I’ll update you on the situation.
Thank you, you have added some clarity to this situation. Navigare showing honesty and integrity when it is most needed. Big applause to every person. Looking forward to sailing away soon.
