To become a registered nurse in the USA, you can either get an ADN- Associate's Degree in Nursing (2 years) or a BSN- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (4 years). With the 2 year (associate's) degree, you still have to take pre-requisites before starting the nursing program, which can take 1-2 years to complete. I am in an ADN program, while taking the classes for my BSN online at the same time. So I'll graduate with both degrees at the same time!
I am so excited I just got accepted into an ABSN program in AZ and I start this upcoming January 2023! Watching your nursing videos are super encouraging and are so informative !

Wow that's awesome!! I was working two 8 hour shifts a week (so 16 hours). I did end up quitting halfway through semester 1 though- because the schedule at the medspa wasn't working out for me. I got a work from home job and have been doing that ever since. I still work 15-20 hours a week! It's definitely manageable! Good luck to you! 🥰
Hey girly loved this video and I’m super glad block 1 went well!! I have a random question lol did they ever say anything about your badge reels since they’re like a felt-type material or were they good? I had orientation today and they said to make sure the badge reels are made of a material that can be wiped and not cloth. I already ordered the cute ones and was so excited to use them 😔
No one ever said anything to me during lab or clinical. But I didn’t even realize that it would be a sanitary issue!! I’m looking for some cute ones that I can clean now 😅

I loved them! Still using them to this day! I tried out other combos of pens and highlighters and I found that the best is G2 pens with sharpie clear view highlighters 🥰
It worked out really well!! I just got to the end of the RekMed planner- so I recently bought an Erin Condren planner that is 18 months- so it will last me to the end of nursing school!
Hello Mya, is there anyway you can do a video that explains the cost behind the CEP program? I just got accepted into the CEP program last week at GCU with a community college here in Arizona. I have been watching all your videos because it seems like not a lot of CEP students post on RU-vid lol im very nervous and on top of that I don’t want the cost of the CEP program to kinda slap me in the face lol.
