@@robbrennanrc thanks mate, yeh its that or a street rover body 😂 thats a shelf queen so the holiday buggy will have to do for the min lol Thanks mate had to order a new front hub, plastic must be brittle it fell apart when i was looking over it, will be ready for the weekend just hoping the weathers dry down here... good luck on your next run as well mate, was your motor or esc bad on your last run?
Great run! Its good watching the speeds you can get from the brushless set ups. I will stay with brushed at the moment though, may be tempted to go brushless in the future though
@@rivierarc yeh im just trying to use what i already have so i dont have to spend a lot unless i have to, do want to get a fast brushed setup one day 👍🏻
@@UncleBobsRC ah i wasn't very well when i did these videos and where i filmed was so noisy so you cant hear anything, put them on private i think as they weren't very good. The TT02b is still in bits but it will make a come back one day soon for the speed challenge held by reitplace and rc rx 👍🏻
Oh man, it's tricky stopping these things from that speed with only rear wheel braking! Great runs there mate, excellent starting point putting you equal with that pesky Pete Wylie! Good luck going forward pal! 😎👊👍
@@MarkBryanRC 😂 thanks mate, yeh it just locks up and spins out when you brake so i can defo see a big crash in the near future with it 😂 adding more speed and power can only help 😂 thanks mate you too, your 1st run went really well, robs not so much bless him 😂 looking forward to your next runs 👍🏻
Hey nice run. With the gearing limitation it's really a matter of more KV and bigger wheels as you say. I've not actually done any work on mine since the test run but I have got a 4600kv that can go in. Good luck with your next runs 😁👍👍
Congratulations for 36mph. You just pipped me by 1 mph 😂 i will give mine one more blast after the leader board video before i swap the motor and pinion over for something quicker 👍
@@cw-01creations46 thanks i have everything maxed out on the esc the motor stunk after that 😂 not alot of space to work with so ill see what i can find for a better esc as well. Still on the 19t pinion, do u dremel the casing out to fit the 22t pinion?
@@RCMadUK no, you have to elongate one of the holes that holds the motor to the face plate. It's a trial and error sort of thing to do which is why I won't film myself doing it as no-one wants to watch me COCK it up for 4 hours but I will make a video after ive done it and point out what needs to be done and where to cut and file 😝😁🤣
@@RCMadUK You will need a 120a esc if you use a higher kv (5200+) motor and then reprogramme it to the max 😉 If you think it's unstable now, wait til later when it's uncontrollable on all 4 wheels but all good fun trying 👍 I need to find a car park like yours but where I live in town, its constant traffic everywhere. Typical SE London and bloody pedestrians in the way... 🤣😝😆
@@cw-01creations46 yeh this car park has just been redone so looks perfect, im in kent not too far from london and abit limited with places i can run, has to be early morning on a sunday before people are up and about. The normal road i used to run is too bumpy and have curbs both sides the whole length so one mistake and its game over. Yeh im looking forward to it, i have a gyro out of a drift car that might have to go in the faster it goes but ill try without it 1st... iv got a setup in my tt02 that reached 71mph with the poor boys challenge but the esc is pretty big, dont think it will fit very well in this chassis... but we will see 😂
@@RCMadUK I thought about going down to the M2 Services that has a car park both sides of the motorway with that glass bridge/walkway overhead that connects both sides to test out my DT-02 in. Not sure about space but worth a try I suppose 🤔 🤷 Even my road has speed bumps every 50 yds and a 20 mph limit so I don't fancy a speeding ticket for something so small 🤣😝😆
Perhaps you should ditch the “rap” “music” and tell us something about your proposed project of an RC conversion. These videos are annoying and get a thumbs down.
There were several just going back and forth. Never making an actual lap unless they had to. The little yellow cab is the easiest to follow. Im not sure of the rules of banger racing, its always been a tad fuzzy on the details.
Yet another great day with the Initial G, love the video mate and the replay of our little bump. Have a great Christmas and new year to and the Initial G family, catch you all in the new year.
@@RCMadUK I haven’t got Facebook, but my wife has. I will get her to send you a message. No worries about knocking my shell off it made us both laugh.👍🏻
Its not a race, you have clipping points you need to try and stay in and you need to get as close as you can to the driver in front... its not easy though 😂 this is just practicing really, its nice and chilled you stop when you want etc
