Quick video of the build of my tamiya frog rere...
Never liked the box art paint scheme so did my own thing...
Really nice enjoyable build, built with the high speed gearing with the stock silver can 27t motor. Not yet run im thinking of sticking a tamiya sport tuned motor soon and a MIP Diff.
Only upgrade so far is the Bearings iv fitted throughout the car.
Running video coming soon when im feeling better.

Awesome! I begged my parents when I was 8 years old back in 1983 to buy me one of these kits. Price Club (now Costco) had a dual pack of the Frog and Grasshopper for sale for a few years. Begged them every time I saw it. hahahha.....of course they said no way! I think i'm going to have to pick up one of these kits because its been an itch of mine since 1983!

I love hearing story's like that, these kits take me right back to my childhood every time. My 1st ever kit was a tamiya stadium blitzer must of been early 90s, i loved that thing, took it on holiday and dog walks hahaha had some serious miles on it... the old trickle chargers make me laugh now, used to leave my batterys on charge for around 14 hours and lasted around 10-15mins... awesome times 😂👍🏻
