What’s your thoughts on getting fit as someone who’s been playing for 2 years. Has good shots and bad shots as well except driver luckily my rogue st max off the shelf goes straight. Just wanna upgrade to nice clubs vs my beginner strata set and debating on buying off shelf or going to get fit locally
I’m new to golfing (realistically been playing for around 6 months) and just went and got fitted. Would highly recommend getting fitted as it gives you the chance to feel out and see what you like. My fitter ended up getting me into the ai smokes with the proper shafts and I couldn’t love them more!
Just did a fitting last week that included both of these. For my swing, the Smoke AI with 110 shafts outperformed everything else. Not just on data but feel too. If you are shopping for clubs, get a professional fitting!!!
Looking to get a new putter I LOVE the alignment On the 7 and 7.5. Wanting to hit them both to see which model fits be best before pulling the trigger.
nice vid, great review , greetings from Ireland, quick ?, is there much difference between Pro series from 2022 & this 2024? just I can get older ver good bit cheaper, thanks.jon
I have the 2022 Pro series bag and it’s identical to the 24 version, with only minor design differences. Great quality, very solid and well constructed, and it even sits nicely on my MGI buggy. Save your money and go for the earlier model. You won’t be disappointed. I live in Australia but bought it from one of England’s major golf stores online. Can’t remember which one, though. But it was cheaper, shipping included, than here in Oz. Greetings from Down Under. Peter.
@@pam4280hi Peter, thanks a million for that, took your advice and got 22 ver from UK online store, fab bag indeed, I use it with my motocaddy electric trolley, using easilock, appreciate your advice and hope all good down under,
I just got fitted today. I would have picked these clubs last. I’m a 12 handicap. But When I hit the Q1Max they felt so crisp. The ball seem to fly off the face. I got 10-14 yards further with the 7 iron ( I have PXG 2 gen now). These were by far the best clubs that I tried. (Ping, Callaway, Mizuno, Cobra) I ordered a set with the KBS max 85 MT shaft. Can not wait to get them. Thanks for a great video review:
Just ordered these irons 6-pw. Have struggled with my irons for last two years. A six iron used to go 160, now 140. Old and knackered. Will report back when I get the Clevelands.
I am a high handicapper and was dead set on Mizuno Hot Metals. I went for a fitting and had a much better experience with the QI 10 irons. I ordered a fitted set ranging from lob wedge- 5 iron and can’t wait to come in!
Think twice! I just warrantied mine out (2 months old). They look like crap after a few rounds. My 6 iron head is actually breaking at the hossile! TaylorMade is replacing the irons no problem..... Talking to the PGA store TaylorMade QC has gone way down. When I went for another fitting he asked if I bought them off TEMU. Ive now been fitted to the Titleist T200s
Great video! Very informative. I just bought the Max version and I'm waiting for it to arrive. I have always played the Max LS version of previous models but they didn't offer it this cycle. Do you think you can make the Max version more low spinning by adding a heavier weight in the front?
Max on fade setting is going to be a winner for me. My g430 is just too draw biased, even with the weight set for fade. I even thought about trying the triple d in 8 degree, just to see if it will help tone down my hook
Loving the bladed look of all the new game improvement Irons now, with these being easier to hit and also carrying longer, there is a decent argument for better players gaming these clubs in their longer irons in a split set. Really informative video Tom, thanks for the upload.
Great video as always! There is big hype around the Ai smoke so was very informative on what I should try for me ! Well shot as always and keep the videos coming! 👌👏
I got fitted last year and the fitter told me this is the one for me . I can’t hit it for shit . Now it just sits in my garage and I use a 12 year old driver . I don’t want to blame the club I think the fitter just told me whatever to sell a club .
