Hi Furends! My name is Frankie and I am a Mini Australian Shepherd! Here are a few fun things about me • I was born on 02.15.19 • I am the biggest little floof • I like to punch faces with my face... out of love • I live in Ottawa, Ontario • Named after Frank Sinatra with my angelic voice and baby blue eyes
Welcome to my channel! My dad and I are not experts, but we are here learning together and we thought we would share our journey!
We have three mini aussies…14, and two full blooded sisters one is a year and a half and the other is six months old…they make amazing pets if you are ready for dogs who can and will work together to get something they want…even if they shouldn’t have it 😅😅😅
Hi there. Can anyone who owns a mini Australian shepherd tell me that their dog is fine if left alone for 8 hrs while at work…? Seriously, considering getting one from a friend. He seems calm, but if this is true that they can only be left 4 to 6 hours I’d hire a walker or neighbor to check on him within this timeframe, until I get home from work. Help because I really love this dog.
All really depends if your dog has separation anxiety like mine as long as you put up thing you don’t want them chewing on just leave em with some bones or toys etc they should be fine only thing mine shreds is paper towels and tp
Absolutely. I decided before I got my Aussie he would go everywhere I went so, I haven't gone anywhere he couldn't go for the 11 years I've had him, unless he's gone with me & a person to sit with him while I was away for an appt. Aussies require your devotion & full commitment. The same commitment they give to you. So, if you can't return that love & commitment, do not hurt an aussie by breaking its heart & trust by getting one. Don't be selfish. Aussies are lovely & loving, loyal dogs that will work their hearts out to please you. They make you a much better person, if you can live up to the commitment it takes to be an aussie parent. If you're part of a couple & you both want a child, an Aussie will teach you what being good & unselfish parents is all about. You can't be selfish people & be good Aussie parents.
The @frankietothemoon you have to be more careful when handling your pups hair, it’s very sensitive. I’d like to see someone rip and pull your hair, see if you like it. Please don’t abuse your dogs. And the way you held and pulled him by the harness handle was too much. Please be careful or I’ll have to call Animal Abuse Services.
Hi there!!Love Frankie ❤I was wondering what your thoughts were on when it comes to bed time, would you take the crate in your bedroom ? Eventually we would like to have just his bed in there.Right now we have the kennel-in our kitchen- living room space.Thank you!!😊
How did he teach your Aussie how to play frisbee really good and come back with it straight away and drop it l am getting a Aussie in a few weeks l can’t wait
I'm loving to watch all your content and the adventures of Frankie & Little Lady! I've been wanting to acquire a mini aussie for a year now and there are great opportunities where I live to take them on hikes and walks as we are surrounded by mountains, lakes, and rivers just near us. Despite wanting a mini aussie so badly I have always felt a little bad since there are many dogs ready to be adopted that deserve so much love, but I really appreciated your words about "I don't care how you get your dog, just that you love it" - it made me smile as I know it is the right thing for me eventually :)
I have three One of them is like tails from sonic and tries to fly with the frisbee Lots and lots of fetch One is a big baby must have lots of love on One is the leader and guard of the family
My heart goes out to all of you who lost their dear pup. Imconsidering getting a mini aussie for our family who has never had a dog. Our cat is getting old and the 3 kids really want a dog. Any response will be favored.
Anyone know what kind of harness that is? My Aussie is freakishly sensitive to his leash and harness and I’ve tried six different kinds…counterconditioning and desensitization haven’t worked and it’s been almost a year of trying.
Having an Aussie is really like raising a child. If you can not take your puppy out at 3am every day, if you can not play and challenge their mind, if you are going to leave them alone for hours while you go to work do not get this dog. But if you can meet their needs they will be the best companion you could ever ask for.
Can anybody please share their thoughts on TLC pet food? I've seen some high-quality breeders recommend it on their websites, but it contains both lamb and chicken meal as the main ingredients. Those breeders have good reputations, but i was already aware that "meals" are not good. I'm considering getting a standard Australian Shepherd in a few months/years. It's one of the only pet foods that fits my budget and I like the convenience that kibble provides. All advice is welcome!😊❤
Well idk for how long it will take right now but i have my main coon kitten and they cant be really alone so i dont want 2 cats like 2 main coons.. cuz idk i dont think its that great for my mental health cuz my kitten is the biggest demon most play full cat ever but yeah i dont feel like my Mental Health is getting better things happen in my fam they dont want me etc so my fam decided to find a place for me at assisted living then when i find a place i decide to give my mother my kitten in rule helping to buy the Australian Shepherd in the begin cuz we have one in fam and i think my fam dog makes me happy but i got sad that day so when she tried cheering me up i pushed her away and that was wrong to do.. but yeah im buying one when im close to find a place but for now i have my own kitten ✨🙃 ( sorry that i sented this long message )
I unsubscribed awhile back, very sadly I might add because of lack of content. I was a long time subscriber. Today I decided to check in but was once again disappointed that there has been no new video since December 😢 So I will stay unsubscribed 😢 I really miss the dogs and of course humans. I wish them all well but at least be honest with their subscribers, of course not very personal details but just be honest whether this channel is finished or not
I love my Minnie Aussie, she is now 10 years old. I have such a bond with her, she and I just look into each other's eyes and we know. She is not lethargic yet she is not overactive either. She will eat too much if allowed but it's up to the humans to keep her wt. right. She is having some arthritis issues and I have been giving her MSN Glucosamine and Chondroitin supplement and I notice a difference. It is easier for her. I can say she is a smart dog but she does not have predator-type instincts. No fetch, no chasing cats. I had a Huskey-Collie in the past and she was highly intelligent.. not to say my Aussie is less intelligent. They are all unique.. I love my Aussie
My mini is like a toy. He’s 10 months and weighs 9.5 lbs and the vet thinks he might get 12-13 lbs. did a DNA test too. 60 something percent mini Aussie, 30 something percent Aussie and 3 percent border collie.
