Hi! 👋 My name is Sumit! And I am a professional chef!
I am a culinary graduate and have been cooking for 12+ years. I have spent most of my chef life working for fine-dine restaurants specifically serving modern contemporary and progressive cuisines. I have spent my time in kitchen working with Michelin starred chefs and also Premium 5 - star hotel brands. This is my youtube channel where I do fun content that revolves around food. Since I Don’t have much time from my kitchen life to go see my friends, I usually make content here which would be something I would do if was with my group of friends. :) So….. Welcome to the circle 🥰
The key take away phrase here is "Jaime Oliver Style". That's all you need to know about how anything this English yahoo cooks is going to be 100% wrong. However his videos are entertaining due to the fact that he is totally clueless in thinking that he is a professional chef. He's what as known as a celebrity chef; in this case known for his notoriety for not being able to cook anything that remotely resembles the dish he claims to be making.
I'd recommend working on the audio. the audio of the video seems very low and hard to hear. other than that, I appreciate your video and enjoyed the reaction and your thoughts!
Weird how the definition I found for mangetout includes both sugar snap peas (you eat the pod and the pea) and snow peas(pick and eat when the pea seeds are barely there at all, you're really just eating the pod). Totally different taste and texture. The former are quite good, the latter are my favorite vegetable besides a good heirloom tomato, and I wouldn't include them in a traditional Thai curry if they don't belong there. (Bet you they're in somebody's curry though, but that's a different matter and I don't wish to intrude into the international curry wars besetting our civilizations).
