It really is as good as they say - believe the hype and don''t miss it!
Lyrics: Are there any paranoids in the audience tonight? Is there anyone here who worries about things? Pathetic. This is for all the WEAK people in the audience! Is anyone here who's WEAK? Well this is for you, it's called "Run Like Hell". Let's now have a clap! Come on, I can't hear you, get your hands together! [???] Enjoy yourselves! That's better. Run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run Run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run You better make your face up in your favorite disguise With your button down lips and your roller-blind eyes With your empty smile and your hungry eyes Feel the bile rising from your guilty past With your nerves in tatters as the conch shell shatters And the hammers batter down the door You'd better run! Run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run Run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run You better sleep all day and run all night Keep your dirty feelings inside And if you're taking your girlfriend out tonight You'd better park the car well out of sight Cuz if they catch you in the backseat trying to pick her locks They're gonna send you back to mother in a cardboard box You better run! (Hey, open up! HAHAHAHA!) (Hammer! Hammer! Hammer! Hammer! Hammer! Hammer!)
Lyrics: [The Show Must Go On] (Ah ah) Ooh, ooh hoo ooh ooh (Ah ah) (Ah ah) (Ooh-ma, ooh-pah) Must the show go on? (Ooh-pah, take me home, take me home, take me home) (Ooh-ma, let me go, let me go, let me go) There must be some mistake, I didn't mean to let them take away my soul, Am I too old, is this too late? (Ooh-ma, ooh-pah) Where has the feeling gone? (Ooh-ma, ooh-pah) Will I remember this song? (Ooh, ooh, ah) The show must go on [In the Flesh] FIRE! So ya, thought ya Might like to go to the show? To feel the warm thrill of confusion, That space cadet glow I got some bad news for you, sunshine Pink isn't well, he stayed back at the hotel And they sent us along as a surrogate band We're gonna find out where you fans really stand! Are there any queers in the theater tonight? Get 'em up against the wall (against...the...wall!) Now there's one in the spotlight, he don't look right to me... Get him up against the wall (against...the...) And that one looks Jewish, and that one's a coon Who let all this riffraff into the room? There's one smoking a joint, and another with spots, If I had my way, I'd have all of you SHOT! (Pink Floyd! Pink Floyd!)
Very fortunate to have seen the original line up many times, this is great however. One of my old mates was one of the kids that went into the mincer machine in the brick in the wall video.
When I heard her sign Great Gig, I was amazed how well she performed it. Singing lyrics is one thing, but to be able to remember Great Gig has to be the most difficult thing to sign. And, I worried about her voice the whole time. She’s so amazing! Seeing them again for my birthday in July. I can’t wait.
Hard to believe they make a living doing this and they’re not even the real deal, all the money to make these shows possible and they didn’t even have to write a single song? I’m blown away.
I seen these guys at the Royal oak music theater I never really liked covers but man this band does a great job of welcome to the machine Pink Floyd always had an opera f****** sound great background singers Brit Floyd got some killer background singers
Such a great story! 2024 June 19 at Marmore... your performance on Great Gig gave me tears. Listening back to it again on this video made them fall again. You do the song with so much feeling. How to see you all at Red Rocks next year.
Am I the only one who thinks they took some inspiration from Lady Fantasy in the final solo? They added something that wasn't in David Gilmour's original solo and it sounds a lot like part of Lady Fantasy.
Absolutely incredible music. The lyrics talk about male insecurities and frailties of to the modern world and how part of this is built by the way we are raised.
I have been a massive Floyd fan since the early 80's. This is a great album. I have lost count of the times I have listened to it a long time ago. That was a FKN good reproduction. Well done 👍
