Tacti-cool Gaming and more!... no recycled AAA garbage here! (unless they one day get their act together) Indie Tactical/Realistic/Historic Shooters, Simulators and Strategy games "MIL-SIMs" (military simulator) is my favorite genre, and I truly think one day this genre will change the whole of gaming for the better!

We need to start harassing bigger creators to come play, I do it all the time... "THIS GAME IS A ABSOLUTLE TREASURE TROVE OF CONTENT, COME PLAY WITH US!" The game would be insane with another few years of dev.. I pray it happens man!
Only 13 in game right now, thats so sad, it looks like a great game, and its pretty cheap so I will check it out. Is the FPS good or is it more like its counterparts (Squad and 44)?
That number is never right... I'll tell you exactly what it is in a second, on the way in now. We are usually at like 40 players or so every Saturday.. and its BEAUTIFUL CHAOS. Every once in a while we will pack the server, and it is a sight to behold!
so awesome to see people playing this game still, ive never been able to get into squad or any other game like it, but beyond the wire was some of the most fun ive ever had gaming, the minute I get a pc again ill be back on...
It was so annoying when I heard they abandoned this game. They went from an early beta with a lot of potential to just announcing "it's done, now we're doing bugs."
I think beyond the wire could implement a way to dig trenches. They might need to simplify the environment for that, but an interactive environment I find makes ww1 games a lot more fun.
You can cut barbed wire and there is an engineer section that builds bunkers and catwalks etc. Actually digging into the ground would need an entirely new base code... Shit like that will come and be actually viable within the next decade or so. Definitely will be cool!
Beyond the wire is the most fun ive had in a FPS in a long time. I found it way more fun than hell let loose or squad 44 or BF1 or verdun and all of its other spinoffs. Its basically a red orchestra in WWI.
It's such a shame gamers HAVE TO HAVE 328910 full servers to even consider jumping in one... I always say, if the server you are in is full, what the hell do the other servers matter?!
@@boogie5 i get that but this game rarely had more than 30 players in a server. I loved it when it was somewhat populated but I won't stick with a game that can't fill a server.
Come join the mayhem, every Saturday at 1pm EST! 🎮 You can grab Squad 17 (Beyond The Wire) for $1.29 at either of these discount Steam key sites: 🗝 www.cdkeys.com/beyond-the-wire-pc-steam 🗝 www.g2a.com/search?query=beyond%20the%20wire Shout out to Baguette Gaming for the B-roll used in this video... 🎬 Go show his RU-vid Channel some love: www.youtube.com/@baguettegaming5156 Be sure to join the boogie5 Discord Channel linked in the bio, and I will see you boys... I LOVED this game nearly a decade ago, so so much fun coordinating with everyone at once and knowing it's all real. It also just feels and plays great. HOW they did this.... I just have no idea, especially the networking and scale of the map, even proximity VOIP
I’m sure that will come in due time. I’d also love to see North Africa, the Balkans, and maybe even China. Also the Eastern Front of course, but there is already a mod for it
Is this really what the game needs though? I think a realistic assessment of the overall gameplay would be more impactful than a large map. HLL isn’t more popular just because it’s more casual, it’s just a better made “game”.
The Game needs sales i guess to finance developers and fixing stuff, you dont sell games from patches saying "look we fixed a bunch of stuff" most potential players wont care only people that allready own the game and are die hard do.
The Squad 44 devs have been doing a lot to improve the gameplay as well as outdoing HLL in the content they add though. Also, Squad 44 is probably never going to be more popular than HLL anyways because the latter is more casual, so why even compare them?
