Unfortunately if you look at MA's work, the greek faction is the worst optimized and arguably some of the worst maps PS has ever seen. Granted, they are desert landscapes but judging by their work history, boring and poorly performing aren't things this game needs more of. They are a very amateur team with most becoming map makers just from PS alone. They have made all of 2 maps and I wouldn't be surprised if it's a repeat of what we already know.

@@EugenetheMedic I'm telling you what Mercury Arts has made as mods/implemented into the game, who would be doing the pacific map, so you can understand what kind of map they will produce unless OWI helps them out. Nothing ruins fun more than getting your hopes up and expecting a different result than what has happened in the past.

lol... Definitely my favorite game of all time!

They "appear" that way but they're changing so many things at once the update is filled with bugs and poor performance, the opposite of what players want. HLL is the epitome of abandoned project and S44 appears that they care when really they've done very little to improve the game since before they took over. It's a bastard child of what it used to be, now it's truly a squad mod without the fun 2 MSP meta we had, now we have less spawns, you're doing shovel building and logi runs now... Less experienced players and the game is way more boring. They destroyed the gun play their very first update, and well the rest of the game is mediocre. Squad logi update and now their new game mode have be utterly disappointing in terms of the games future and the resources they use to make flawed concepts that make the game play worse. HLL was great till around U8 and had a much better run than S44 before 200m garrisons destroyed HLL. S44 is moving away from HLL towards the fake milsim direction that is already present with PSRM mod but they want that in the base game (very few people play it on the weekends). It's OWI doing development, only 1 developer for MA who is part time. OWI doesn't listen to players and do what they want to make more money. I guarantee DLC and MTX will be in the game very soon to follow in Squads footsteps.

They will eventually hotfix performance if we're lucky, then everyone will rant and rave that performance is at an all time high, meanwhile for long term players performance is basically the same as before without much improvement compared to pre OWI development. This game has been plagued with performance issues for a long time.

it will be in a long drought unless they can patch performance, even then the surge of players came because of the -50% sale which will drive away experienced players and we will be back to a few servers during the peak hours soon enough. The game has been and will continue to hover on life support because OWI (no MA they are part time scapegoat) is developing the game where they can suddenly decide to do an ICO and not care about player feedback. All of these changes no on asked for, Frontline mode is imbalanced AF. Squad logi in S44 isn't as fun as the 2 MSP meta we once had. They're out of touch and will continue to be a pronoun commie china funded corporation.

There not going to add ico to squad 44 the devs said that it doesn’t fit the gameplay like it does in squad but I would like to see more patches and tweaks before they drop anymore major content drops

There is like 8 server and 4 that always have a longue waiting list also the player count is like 1500 on peak and server only have 80 max player , stop saying bs

@@TheJimyyy peak for this update was 1300 players and I have a video showing they have almost 300 bots not in the queue lol, on top of the -50% sale and the pacific teaser that people probably thought would be in this update, not coming out next year....

@@Squad44ICOhappened pacifics come at the end of the years also there is no bots at all and for the last 2 month the peak player is around at 1300 is not only because of the sale or update

@@TheJimyyy Yes there are bots I have a video showing steamcharts report of players versus who's actually in queue or playing. Almost around 200-300 bots who sit at login screen, which I have multiple examples of which validate my claims and make yours inaccurate.

@@boogie5 Ofc I have it off, been playing this game since 2020 not my first rodeo. A statement isn't the same thing as crying, PS had better performance pre 4.27 than this current game. I don't know what you mean if you could be more specific that's usually how you discredit someones claims. I forgot making videos backing up a point isn't enough evidence xD

I came back to this video today just to say I was playing yesterday an there were 7 full servers with queue to get in. And it was not even peak time. Not to mention the ones with 40~60 people in. I think it's working well.

@@diegobluc They just had -50% sale while dropping a pacific trailer, the hype will die down soon enough, NA peak is already back to 3-4 servers. What good does it do when the game is bugged and performance is an all time low? They change too many things at once which causes these issues that they can't figure out what is broken. We need stability, not hype wave followed by a broken update along with fixing weapon sway twice within 6 months already (not for the better). Frontline game mode is also hideously imbalanced and barely any teams make it past the first point in my limited playtime. Experienced players are taking a break while newbies make the battlefield a disaster without spawns.
