So do you have portal lift and suspension lift? What sizes? I’m currently putting 6” portals ( 30%), 2” forward a- arms, and some spacer lift for 3-4”. Tire wheel combo will be fuel 20s w/ 35” system 3 xtr370s . They were a good deal I couldn’t pass up. Anxious to see how this winds up looking. Currently in shop
I have the Gold Finger left hand throttle. Put it on my Polaris Sportsman. Way less invasive and you retain your stock right hand throttle. Got mine on Amazon for $96.99. Was the best price on the internet or my local atv dealer.
Great question but anyone that answers that question hasn't been to different places or tried different machines or sizes. There is too many variables. I can only rec tires once I know what you need them to do best. Do you have alot of ground clearance? Can you afford for a tire to dig down to get traction and not bottom out first? How much GR do you have? Can you turn big lug aggressive tires? What kind of machine? Do you ride deep water? What can your machine fit tire wise? I'm generally gonna pick the biggest tire you can fit without it changing the weight balance of the machine too much unless you tell me you have a stretch or raked arms etc. Then we can talk about which tires they make in that size that you can turn.
@@ProjectAjax lol I’m very old school! I still have a Rhino 700 used for hunting & working. But I do have a Honda 420 I’m building on & I’m running 29.5 OutLaw OGs. Needs some good pointers on a really good Gear Reduction ⚙️ Just anything to make it pull like a tractor. I plan on running no bigger than a 32” Tire, That would be the biggest I’d go. Love watching y’all’s videos, Much love!
@zachelliott7220 If you don't ride any deep water a stretch and some 32.5 Ol2 would be near unstoppable. 32 Silverback if you don't care about the ride are ridiculous good in pure black mud. 31 OL1 are also a great do it all tire that I like for do it all (except deep water again those old school tires float bad)
Can you tell me what happens when you take off shock. I have to change my A arm bushings in front but I’m concerned that the spring in shock will cause it to become dangerous and then I won’t get it back together. It looks like nothing to be concerned about?
@@ProjectAjax nah me and her found it a few weeks after the ride lol. Just forgot to comment. We’re actually married now 😅. That was one of our first dates and we were looking back on memories
i have 2015 honda 500 and it keeps stripping rear yoke on diff ? nothing on google about it at all and i cant figure out why its doing it after every drive 😭😢
Not enough horsepower in super thick clay. Problem is reductions multiply torque but at the expense of wheel speed and eventually you get diminishing returns IMO for continuing to add reduction. 38s were the limit of my setup. 60% Primary, 15% Secondary, and 30% portals.
@@ProjectAjax I’m in the process of building one was gonna install a 60% primary with portals not sure if 6” would be the way to go or go with 4” but wanting to run 35 “tires up to 38. (Like the Aztec) but where in the world do I find long arm kit I’m googled and find nothing
Where can I purchase the part you put the wires into? In other words, I need to buy the part you ran the short circuit. Thanks, great video and a thumbs up!!
