A wonderful walking tour of the magnificently beautiful city. It's also interesting that you tour the interiors of the venues.👍 But I think there's a problem with the sound?! Or did I hear it wrong? Thanks for sharing👋
Thank you for your kind words and for watching the video! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Regarding the sound, you are correct. At the time of my visit and filming at the Peninsula Hotel, there was construction or renovation work happening in at least two separate areas. This might be the noise you are referring to. To be honest, I didn't realize this might be a concern. I apologize for the confusion and will make sure to pay more attention to such details in the future. Thank you once again for your comments; I really appreciate it.
@@GatewaytoEndlessAdventure Please don't misunderstand, the video was great. I thought I might have misheard the audio because I watched it on my mobile phone. Sometimes these kinds of problems can happen.👍 Thanks for the long explanation.👋

English is my native tongue. what languages do you know? i understand in order of proficiency-- English Mandarin Spanish French Italian Russian Japanese Turkish German Korean or the list goes on
Thanks for your message! I primarily communicate in English, but I also have some knowledge of other languages, including Mandarin. It's impressive that you have such a wide range of language skills!
Thank you for your comment! Yes, it's fascinating to see how these areas have evolved from humble villages into the vibrant neighborhoods they are today. If you have any specific memories or stories from the old days, I'd love to hear them!🤩
27:09 These walls has already been there since I was 3 years old around the mid 1960's ! Or may be longer but before the Japanese occupation in the 1940's.
I apologize for the late reply. I'm so sorry to hear about your feelings regarding Jimmy. It sounds like you miss him a lot. Dogs truly become part of our family, and their absence is deeply felt. Thank you so much for your kind words! It’s wonderful to hear that my walking vlogs bring a bit of Hong Kong to you in the UK. I appreciate your support and will definitely keep up the good work. Hope you get to visit Hong Kong again soon! 🌟
Nov/Dec weather is more forgiving. You can enjoy more outdoors than in summertime, but I think you're familiar with the weather in Hong Kong. I wish you a safe journey and lots of fun in Hong Kong. Thanks for watching and your support.
btw you might want to add your comments in subtitles to the video rather directly on the video itself, it will be less editing for you and viewers can choose if they want to read your comments or not :)
Thank you for the suggestion! Adding comments in subtitles is a great idea, as it gives viewers the option to read them if they choose. I appreciate your feedback and will consider this approach for future videos. Thanks for watching! 🙏🏼😊
Thanks for your input! It's great to know you prefer the comments directly on the video. I appreciate all the feedback as it helps me improve the viewing experience for everyone. Thanks for watching! 😊
Thank you for watching and for your feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed the video! If you have any suggestions or requests for future content, feel free to let me know.🤩
Thank you for your question! Both Kowloon and Hong Kong Island can be quite crowded, but it often depends on the area and time of day. Kowloon, especially around Mong Kok and Tsim Sha Tsui, is known for its bustling streets and busy markets. On Hong Kong Island, Central and Causeway Bay are usually very lively. If you have any other questions or need more information, feel free to ask! 😊
Great filming with good short commentries. i used to visit and work in this area back in the 80's 90's still the same except now for more malls and higher buildings. i'd love some walking filming of T.S T east over near the Penisula centre, Regal Kowloon, Royal garden hotel where i used to visit....if you ever have a chance. anyway, thank you Ken
Thank you for your kind words and for sharing your memories, Ken. It’s amazing to hear how much the area has changed over the decades! I appreciate your suggestion and will definitely add T.S.T East, including the Peninsula Centre, Regal Kowloon, and Royal Garden Hotel, to my list of places to film. Stay tuned for future videos, and thank you again for watching and commenting!🤩
Thank you for the suggestion! Tsing Yi sounds like a great idea for a walking tour. I'll definitely add it to my list of places to explore. It means a lot to me that you enjoy the videos and take the time to suggest new locations. Stay tuned for more videos, and thanks again for watching and your suggestion!
Wow that was a lot of walking but the trail is nice.if i only know then about this walking trail(from the road down to the beach area) 24yrs ago i will definitely try it.i still quite young then.lol.ived been to repulse and deep water bay a few times but we always rode a bus or a taxi.taxi is quite expensive though.i really enjoy watching your videos.no talking but with complete sub title in english and chinese.good one.keep it up.
Thank you for your wonderful comment! I'm glad you enjoyed the video and found the trail interesting. It's amazing how much has changed in 24 years! Repulse Bay and Deep Water Bay are indeed beautiful places to visit. Walking the trail is a great way to experience the scenery, and I'm happy to share it. Thank you for your support and kind words about the subtitles. I'll keep bringing you more content. Please stay tuned!
This is a very long video in fact the longest that i ever watched in yt. but i finish it until the end.its nostalgic for me.because ived been on this part of hk 24yrs ago.no MRT yet at that time and no elevator /lift in going to aplie chao multipurpose public building fr.south horizon.i used to walk on a small path there.South horizon.this is the residential towers/area in hk that i like most( although it is quite old now.)because of the will manicured garden(lots of small trees) downstairs and wide space plus it surrounded by the sea.i never been to lee tung estate part of apli chau but i remember ived been to the industrial part of apli chau.
Thank you for your detailed and heartfelt comment. I'm glad the video brought back nostalgic memories for you. It’s amazing how much has changed over the years in Hong Kong. South Horizons truly has a unique charm with its well-manicured gardens and sea views, even though it’s considered older now. I hope you get a chance to visit again and see the changes, including Lee Tung Estate. If there are any specific places or topics you'd like to see in future videos, please feel free to let me know. Your feedback is invaluable. Thank you for watching until the end and sharing your experiences!🙏😊
@@GatewaytoEndlessAdventureoh yes your videos brings back memories. I worked in south horizon for 3yrs.lots of beautiful places around too like llma island,Aberdeen, ocean park and i remember ived been to a dam clise to Aberdeen. There is also a picnic area on our way to the dam.i enjoyed riding a sampan when me and my boss family dined in the fliating restaurant.its called jumbo floating restaurant. I wonder if it still there?
Thank you for sharing those wonderful memories! It's great to hear that my videos bring back such vivid recollections of your time in South Horizons. Indeed, there are many beautiful places around, like Lamma Island, Aberdeen, and Ocean Park. The dam near Aberdeen and the picnic area sound lovely too. Riding a sampan to dine at the Jumbo Floating Restaurant must have been quite an experience. Sadly, the Jumbo Floating Restaurant has been closed and moved from its original location. (On 14 June 2022, the Jumbo Floating Restaurant was towed out of Hong Kong to Cambodia to await a new operator. While transiting in the South China Sea, it experienced bad weather and capsized near the Paracel Islands on 19 June 2022. Its operator has denied describing it as sunk.) Thank you again for watching and sharing your memories! If you have any other suggestions or places you'd like to see, feel free to let me know.
I hope you get the chance to visit Hong Kong sooner! It's a vibrant city with so much to offer. Thank you for watching and for your continued support.🙏🏼😊
