Thanks. Love my R21. Perfect for cruise camping. It’s rigged for fishing, crabbing and lobstering. I can haul it on its trailer to wherever I wish to explore when it’s not on the mooring. Very nice video
As soon as I saw this Ranger it quickly became my dream boat. I currenly have a Monark 555 but I'm not a fan of the cabin and noisy outbaord. I want a walk around cabin like this one.
Check the video starting at 1:27. It is Total Boat JD Select Ablative Antifouling Paint, very good, easy to paint, good coverage and long durability. Have fun and enjoy your boat!
There is nothing like spending a night on a cozy small boat. I may be getting too old to enjoy my beautiful sailboat (and the work!) quite as much as I used to and a Ranger 21 may be in my future. Thank you for sharing this great video!
Indeed, so true, thank you very much. One of the nice features of the R21EC is the relatively shallow draft, only two feet. I do not know how big your sailboat is, but you should be able to visit the same shallow places on your new boat, should you decide to actually buy the small Ranger. Either way, enjoy your time on the water.
Hello Claude, I appreciate your kind words! I am pleased to let you know that I was able to repair the model and took her flying again, it was much better. Enjoy the weekend and thank you again for watching
Thank you so much, I completely forgot to introduce the outward thrust. I fixed the plane and took her flying today, it was much better. I appreciate you watching and commenting, enjoy the weekend and happy flying!
@@rockingbaby2013 Good morning! I will remember for the rest of my life the mesmerizing flight of my first free-flying glider. Oh my, I can watch and watch such a glider fly! A small pad for the horizontal stabilizer... you know ;) What a welcome, Polish model! It's surprising how small the world is. ;) Of course, I found it on the Internet 10 minutes ago. Thirty-five years ago, I assembled similar sets from the store, i.e. "Jaskółka", then "Zefira", then models with engines and so on. The passion stayed. I need to make something similar for my nephew. ;D Maybe there will be a relay? Best regards from Gliwice! ;)))
@@reflex04Good Evening. Small world, indeed, and similar experiences and feelings. I added radio and motor to Fregata, so she is now an RC electric glider. Have fun continuing the hobby and post a video or two!
@@rockingbaby2013 But I want to! You can probably fly with such a model for hours without landing? Cool. Is this thermal model manageable? That is, can it be prevented from being carried away by rising currents? Once, during a modeling competition, participants "admired" the escape of a slightly larger model, the F1A. The model was worn in such a way that despite the de-determinator being turned on, it was still gaining height! It seems he flew 19 miles. Are you writing a film...? hmmm... hmmm ;D This week I made a pylon for attaching paratroopers to an RC electroglider. My nephews asked for paratroopers ;D The device even works properly ;) Microservo + corrugated cardboard from shopping cartons, I cut everything with an LED laser. Good opportunity... If I make a video and post it on YT, I will let you know first ;) Best regards.
@@reflex04 Sounds like fun with the paratroopers. No, the electrified Fregata is rather heavy now for efficient gliding. I do not take her high as she promptly becomes hard to see . Also, the boom fuselage is not rigid enough for powered flight, so she is probably best to use as the designer intended. Enjoy your time with your nephew, I look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you for sharing this. I just moved to this Dixie County from Melbourne FL and I am looking for a place to windsurf. Cedar Key is only 45 minutes from me. Any other place you recommend closed by will be awesome.
Welcome to paradise! To me, Cedar Key is the most beautiful place on earth. You can windsurf there no matter the wind direction, and you will always find an interesting destination. The short chop adds to the excitement. If you like going the distance, you can venture all the way to Crystal River to the South, or Suwannee to the North. Have fun, keep surfing, and post a video or two. Happy Sunday
I loved my Super Sinbad; I built my own single channel R/C gear from scratch and flew it slope soaring until a Red-tailed Hawk dove on it and ripped one wing to pieces.
Indeed, that experience was amazing. The boat is now sold and I will be MIA with my /MM, but I sincerely hope to hear your call /MM one day! Have a great day, 73 de KG4MIA
I've watched several of your videos in order to learn more about the Ranger Tugs R-21EC, but I didn't know you're also a ham radio operator! How delightful. I'm currently without a boat, but when I get my next one, I'll combine amateur radio with it, doing maritime mobile and IOTA activations. Thank you for sharing this QSO. 73 de K4DMN.
Great to hear from a fellow ham operator. Your plans sound exciting, I wish you good luck and a lot of fun. Thank you for finding me and thank you for commenting. 73 de KG4MIA.
This boat had only one windshield wiper, on the skipper’s side, powered manually, you can see it in action at around 0:50. I think they are needed and helpful. Happy cruising.
Tell the girl, that it is not throwing a stone. An airplane should glide, so you have to bring it smoothly into glide mode releasing it even more smoothly. But yes, no one could have expected this … ;-)
So great to hear from you, Tom, my dear friend. I have been watching your posts on Watertribe website, awesome job, congratulations! I got very sick and am selling all my boats and boating equipment, including my electric Everglades Challenge sailboat and a lot of other boating equipment. If you know someone who might be interested, please kindly let me know. You may e-mail me at KG4MIA on gmail. Happy Weekend and drive home safely.
Really nice build. When you took off for the maiden, that plane looked as squirrels as the day is long! Glad you were able to keep it in the air long enough to get it trimmed out!
Indeed, that was wild. Interestingly, I did actually see that well what the model was doling at the distance at that time, I only heard an internal voice telling me “add power and climb.” To me, it is like the Divine Providence that saved me. Happy flying and thank you for your kind comment, I appreciate it greatly.
@@meshall9586Thank you again, you are very kind. Yes, three channels: rudder, elevator, and the throttle. We visited the Netherlands several years ago and admired the beauty of the country with the endless tulip fields especially. Happy Spring time.
I just bought the Mini Draco. I love it. I have never wanted something soo bad that I preordered it before it hit the market. It's beautiful. It's pretty tough. I haven't destroyed it yet.
